So...i'm not the most skilled person. I do have ONE skill however that I feel is my best quality. I'm an awesome storyteller. If I came to your house and you gave me any object in your house at random I could instantly create an elaborate and mythical story around it's existance. A detailed story. It comes so easily to me...

And yet...despite that skill...it's useless for anything other than to make people smile or get excited briefly.

Yes, I could go into writing screenplays (tried that) or novels...but the chances of getting picked up by either is nearly the same as winning the lotto.

So...what about you? Any quality skills (not like blowing milk through your nose...but REAL skills) that you have that will never help you win a job?

Pffft storytelling is absolutely a great skill to have, depending on the job. Even something as specific as improv. How do you think Stephen Colbert conducts interviews on his show in character?

I have really good muscle memory. It isn't super-important for the job I have now which involves fine motor control, so it's probably fairly useless. But it's actually pretty nice because I have a lot of hobbies that involve fairly complicated movements and I don't have the time to do them very often. It's feels good to pick up knitting needles and know what to do even though it's been over a year since I've knitted anything. :funny: I've also remembered how to ice skate even though I go every couple of years now.

Mmmm... I can hold my breath for a long time.

Sex machine. Unless if I'm in the porn industry or an escort, I don't see it coming in handy at a job unless to boost me to the top.

I can tell how many licks it get to center of a tootsie pop.

Hint: it's not three.

I’m an experienced combat veteran. I can use a wide variety of fire-arms proficiently, and I could even teach urban warfare tactics.

I also hate every part about it and wanted to get as far away from that and all related fields. The real disdain for it started about 5 years ago.

Now those skills will have nothing to do with anything I do for a career anymore.

Job skills mean nothing anyways. I have dozens that are going to waste everyday. I've now decided the best course of action is to abandon learning job skills and enhance my non-job skills, because job skills are doing little and **** for me.

you could be the broody anti-hero vigante that fights crime because he has the gift...even though he doesn't want to fight. He struggles on with his awesome skills.

:)

I have an 80% success rate with the claw machines that have stuffed animals in them.

I can recall the transformation instructions from Generation 1 Transformers from MEMORY! Deal with it, people!

I haven't vomited since the Christmas of '07.
