Crane and Katrina watching the reality TV was funny and I grinned at Crane's "Ah yes, he was macking on a Lady"

It was neat seeing Abbie and Katrina team-up and the same with Crane and Hawley, it added a little twist to the dynamics and Hawley is growing on me.

I like how they are slowly modernizing Crane's look. I was afraid that at some point they would just chop his hair off and have him go 21st century all at once, but they've been delicate with it and handled it more like how real immersion into a new culture happens.

I haven't liked it.The clothes are less noticeable,but it's his hair looking like Barry Gibb when not pulled back that's the problem.I didn't like Katrina's costume much either.I can't see her in jeans.(well,not for this long,at any rate)

Kinda boring without Crane around.What did the demon baby do to Katrina?Henry seemed eager for her to hold the baby. I'm guessing it took some of her power/strength and that's why he's growing fast.


BTW,what do you suppose is the end game with Henry/Jeremy?I don't really see him turning "good".But will Crane actually kill him?

I hope that he gets brought back to the age he was when he was buried and has his memory erased from that point on.Then,the three of them get a happy ending.Although,I somehow doubt the showrunners are going to go with such an idyllic ending to the series.

So good to see Jenny and Irving for more than a split second, Irving's finally free (yay!) and Katina and Henry are much better in small doses. But I don't understand why they chose to sideline Crane with a cold and put McConahawley in his place. Stop trying to make Hawley a thing please.

I agree with all of this. I heard the writers for this episode also wrote some season 1 episodes, and it showed. I was contemplating giving up on SH but this episode reeled me back in. Keep these writers around, showrunners!

Hawley is clearly supposed to be a love interest for Abbie but that subplot is taking forever to get off the ground and he's mucking around with the group chemistry in the meantime. He's also superfluous; everything he does could have been done better by Jenny or Crane.

Well in that case I'd rather see it crash like the Hindenburg than get off the ground. I don't want to see Abbie get Jenny's sloppy seconds, cause keeping it in the family is just gross to me. :X

I thought this was by far the weakest ep of the season, I like seeing Jenny back in the mix but it was all a bit boring and when you take the humourous Crane/Abbie dynamic out the show loses it's fulcrum.

The fall finale looks great though.

Hawley would be fine on some other show but he's throwing the group dynamics off here. I don't understand why the writers didn't give him a unique skill set instead of just replicating Jennie's.

I think Hawley's more interesting than Irving & Jenny.They've really wasted Irving this season.(Though he's finally out now,so that could change.) I've always found Jenny a bit superfluous.It's like she's there because Abbie really doesn't have anybody in her sphere besides Crane.She needs to have some important person in her life,so it might as well be Jenny.

Abbie is the only sane man, Crane is the fish out of water, Irving is the one trying to deal with all the mental **** the demons are putting him through, Jenny is the slick one, and....so is Hawley.
