Sleepy Hollow

Yeah, its pretty ridiculous. By law you're supposed to ID everyone regardless of how old they look, but it really depends on how brave or experienced the waiter or waitress is.

IDK if they do it where you live (probably not), but over here in my state, North Carolina, police officers can get minors under 21 off the street to go into a restaurant or bar and try to order a beer or just some kind of alcoholic beverage. If the bartender or waitress doesn't ID the kid and sells the teen alcohol the cop can come in and ticket the waitress and the establishment. Through some really crooked BS its not considered entrapment. My sis was fired from her first bar job because a cop pulled that ****.

That is disgraceful, if they want to be so stringent they should set up a card reader in the shop/bar/restaurant that people have to swipe their card through before ordering alcohol. The current method makes it very awkward for the people serving.

Anyway... back on track.

Who is this "Pied Piper" and what does he want with that girl? (ep. 4)

Not sure about the latter but this adaption of the Pied Piper seems to have turned him into some sort of assassin or bounty hunter.

I like this "Holly".He's shaping up to be pretty interesting.TBH,I really hope they don't overload the show with supporting characters.I like it best when the focus sticks to Abbie & Crane. But Holly might be worth keeping around.

I was kinda disappointed Crane couldn't dispatch the Piper himself.Isn't swordfighting supposed to be in his wheelhouse?

Hawley...

I haven't seen this weeks ep yet but I just got my e mail for this weeks comic solicits and the show is getting a comic spin-off. :D

^That looks nothing like Nicole Beharie.

I'm not liking Hawley. He intrudes on Abbie's and Crane's screentime and his role could probably be played with equal effectiveness by Jenny. I'm being patient because I had similar complaints with Henry last season and the writers managed to do something interesting with his character so I assume they have a plan here.

He's there as someone to bug Crane, basically. Another handsome adventurer type. I think Crane needs someone there to constantly be a rival.

Question: What do you know about Henry’s plan on Sleepy Hollow? Why does he have that miniaturized version of the town? —Raj
Ausiello: “Every man has a hobby,” executive producer Len Wiseman jokes. “He’s orchestrating a bigger plot and bigger plan. Really, the [3-D] map of Sleepy Hollow is not that different from an operations board. It’s his creepy operations board with his plan.” Though Wiseman and showrunner Mark Goffman won’t spill much about what the Horseman of War has up his sleeve, Goffman does say that there’s a “really tense” scene in the midseason finale, and Henry is in it.

Question: When are we going to see Abbie and Jenny’s mom on Sleepy Hollow? —Courtney
Ausiello: Mid-November. Aunjanue Ellis will debut as Lori Mills in Episode 9, titled “Mama.” Fun fact, courtesy of Goffman: We were originally going to meet Lori in Purgatory in the premiere, but because the Season 2 opener was “a bit of an overstuffed sandwich,” that scene will now air as a dream sequence in Episode 9.

I love this show, I thought they did a great job re-imagining the Pied Piper and he's my favourite villain of the week since The Sandman. I wonder what Henry was up to with his bone pipe.

I'm not a fan of Hawley, it's like one of the shows writers is a fan of Uncharted and he's the result. I'd rather see more Jenny.

Irvine's arc this season is very unpredictable in terms of where it might lead and that vision he had, but I figured he'd signed over his soul. :(

Episode 5 promo.

Is the whole "prepare yourself for 3 weeks of Sleepy Hollow" a reminder that it's not being preempted this year?

the pied piper had that assassin's creed vibe to him. bad ass.

I like the Hawley character. glad he held true to what he's really about (money) and didn't come back at the end to help them. save that cliche' moment for a later date.

Irving's vision was interesting and funny at the same time to me. funny because he looked like Rambo. :o

I'm worried about Irving on Sleepy Hollow? Is he going to be OK? — Heather
Actually, it turns out that selling your soul to the Horseman of War isn't all bad. "There's part of signing that contract that does work in his favor," executive producer Len Wiseman says. "As dark as that is, there's something in the offer that's quite hard to turn down. It is something that his character is going to have to struggle with because the temptation is not an easy one to turn his back on."

LOL, it's probably something like healing his daughter or something, which is meaningless because the end of days would like destroy and kill everyone.

Crane finally has a change of cloths. Pity he picked up a reenactment groupie.

Only this show would have an insane dead ex living in the water

Real great episode.I'm glad Katrina wasn't as shady as they were leading us to believe.Show just keeps getting better every week.

Ms. Jenny at the end good lord!!!

How wonderful was the actress playing Mary? Even if we hadn't already known that she was obsessed with Ichabod her too-wide smile and eyes would've told us everything.

I don't know about that. Katrina's "she tripped on a root and somehow hit her head on the way down" story sounded enormously suspicious to me. It would be neat if it transpired that she had been evil this whole time.

Treasure hunter boy ain't going nowheres now. He got a taste of dat chocolate.
