    You know those song's, those ear candy songs, that get stuck in your brain like someone just jammed a bag of jelly beans in your ears?

    The one's that just hearing a line or two from the chorus can cause a tape loop in your skull that makes you want to scream?

    The ones that just won't go away and as soon as you've stopped thinking about them...WHAM...there they are again?

    That's what this thread is for.

    Just a song title and a little snippet of lyrics should do. Let's see who can inflict the most mental damage on the denizens of The Hype.

    After having to work in a store that plays all kinds of the current "kewl" music these days, I have that lame ass, whiny Simple Plan song stuck in my head... I kind of find it funny that this is what people consider "punk rock" to be. I've never been much of a fan of the original "punk" scene, and seeing that the record industry has finally found a way to defang and neuter the genre the way they have, (and my god, the job they've done with it has almost been a work of art!) it makes me weep... Tears of joy, and tears of sadness... because the music is so unbelieveably goddamn lame and whiney that I'd rather pass an oral bowel movement, than listen to it.

    For some reason that new Blink 182 song gets stuck in my head.

    I think it's called I Miss You.

    It's where their bassist sounds like he's freakin' British all of a sudden. The radio station here decides to play it every 2 hours for some reason and it gets stuck in my head. I usually listen to some Dream Theater or Metallica to destroy the demon...but sometimes not even the awesomeness of Metallica can cure the Song Stuck In My Head blues. :(

    not the actual track, but the version in the movie that they played in the old west, with the fiddles and banjos and such...
