I have a Question, some might have the answers and some might share my question.

If Smallville begins to film July 12, will we have a trailer for Comic con this year?
Im sorry if this is a stupid question but I was curious and I looked around on the net for an answer.

yea you could have asked in the news/spoilers thread. Now yea starting on the 12th is about a week later then usual. Where at past season by comic con at end of july they would have 3 maybe 4 episode shot and in the can already. This time they will probably only have 2 episodes in the can. Now i am sure we are going to get a little promo from those episodes shot as usual. There is no reason why they wouldnt.

If you remember last year's; it was mainly recycled scenes from Season 8, used to say that "yeah, that's Toyman from S8, but we're using it to show he will be in S9". So if anything, they'll probably show what they can show us from what they had shown so far (because I believe Smallville's episodes takes around one week to film, I believe...strongly that that's right).

If I were to play what-if; I would like the trailer for S10 to be like the trailer for The Batman S4. In which it was shots of new characters, or just the characters with a line of dialogue symbolizing their roles for this season, followed by what was shot (glimpses), before the title comes up we'll see probably the same Superman shot from "Salvation", with the S-Shield appearing first before the Smallville title. And then, "you can call me...Darkseid" (quote from STAS), followed by Fall 2010. END.

yea you are right blinker its been stated before it takes 8 days for them to shoot. so they would have two episodes shot by the time comic con panel happens. So they will probably have a little peak at stuff that will be in the first two episodes of the season. then at the panel itself they are bound to talk about how the show is going to wrap up a bit, announce if geoff is doing another episode and if so what it is about. Talk about the 200th episode(4th episode of the season) and then of course what ever silly questions they are given from attendes.

Yeah, I just re-watched the s9 comic con trailer, and it only shows clips from episodes 1 and 2 and the rest are filler clips from previous seasons.

It has been confirmed. Smallville panel at Comic Con will be showing clips from the new season.

well they always say that, and it will probably be what we have gotten in the past like we talked about. They will probably just not have to much, since they will probably just be wrapping on episode 2 when comic con starts. So they will probably end up showing more things from first episode.
