Snake Eyes Laser Pistol?

I just watched the nw clip again, entitled "That Was Crazy", and I noticed when Snake Eyes is shooting at the tires, the "bullets" that are coming out are bright red, and make some kind of laser-like sound. Laser gun maybe?

Snake Eyes Vs. Storm Shadow on top of the car with Duke chasing them on a MOTORCYCLE.

I love how casual that last line was "Ha ha! Ok that was crazy! I didn't expect that..." It's like we get a minute and a half of cgi, wire fu and exploding cars and top it off with an honest sounding, off the cuff reaction.

In the clip when Breaker, Scarlett and Heavy Duty all exclaim "whoa" as the Cobra vechile flips doesn't seem so mature for a bunch of well trained/skilled military force that should by now be accustomed to this type of mayhem.

Snake Eyes tagging under the Hummer was awesome except for his mouth.

I can tell already just be reviews alone that Stephen Sommers is just obligated to deliver a fun filled action packed summer movie, don't expect nothing else.

[BLACKOUT]He also uses it on top of the Hummer to penetrate the roof so he can get his sword through. It clearly looks and sounds more like bullets than lasers. They did use energy weapons, but I took this to be just an extremely high-powered pistol.[/BLACKOUT]
