Probably a bit of both. They manipulate what they have to increase traffic then ignore anyone who says anything otherwise while the defenders claim it's fake or altered and those that already believe the worst claim it's exactly as they thought.

Speaking of which. I live in DC, and there's this famous restaurant here called Ben's Chili Bowl that has a big painting of Bill Cosby on the wall. He's not the only person depicted on it (President Obama is also part of the mural). But I can't believe, after all that's gone on in the past year or two, they they STILL haven't painted over it. I mean, it's no longer a question of "if" he did it. It's a question of how many f***ing times. It's no longer he said/she said, because HE admitted to doing it.

It's disgusting that his picture is still on that wall. I mean, this is one of those places where, if you're new to this city, you HAVE to go there. It's a DC staple. But I, for one, refuse to go there until they paint over that rapist's face. Now, it's true that the owners of the restaurant have ties to Cosby. He's emceed events they've hosted and such. But there comes a time when you have to say enough is enough. The evidence that the man is a rapist is overwhelming.

As for Jackson... I always believed he was guilty, and if this is true, it confirms it.

I think they lump in that stuff because of the idea that he showed it to kids in an attempt to groom them, which is of course not okay at all. But acting like it is the same kind of material as the other stuff is disingenuous.

This isnt about defending Jackson but about not wastong peope's time with bogus moral panics. What's there though? Legal content? Where's the hard evidence of this supposed illegal stuff? If Radar is willing to blur images to make it seem that something is there when it isn't, I'm not about to make any assumptions about where they'll draw the line. This story is also not new at all and has been discussed to death. After a lot of digging over the years, the actual "evidence" they found was actually just an art book featuring children (yes some nude) that they labeled "Child Pornography" until they found out that the book was 100% legal and wasn't purchased by Jackson but instead sent by fans. Not to mention it wasn't in with his main things but instead in storage with his other things sent by fans of which nothing incriminating was found. The rest of what they found was purely fabrication.

In his dresser drawers they found a few playboys and pornographic tapes, one of which I believe was called "Big ghetto booty 5" or something to that degree. They said he would use those to seduce young boys ect. But I ask you, what red blooded man hasn't watched pornography at one point or another? Just because he destroyed his face with plastic surgery and acted "strange" to a lot of people does not make him a predator. If that's the case then Lil Kim is a child molester as well....

And for people bringing up OJ, well there's a huge difference there.. OJ had a history of being a violent prick. Not to mention the evidence was stacked to the roof but somehow they flubbed the case and he walked. Michael on the other hand was always on a quest to help people and was quoted by many people as being incredibly "Normal" behind closed doors. Now I'm not like most fans and won't paint him as an angel. He certainly had his stupid moments and made a lot of bad decisions, but he was no monster and it's about time people let the allegations rest as well as this great man/musician/humanitarian/father/son.
