So Apparently the Jason Todd arc has Completely Turned to ****....

WTF!!!!!!!!!!! Is he going to change back. Was the writer completly tripping on acid or something. You know what this means.... reality has been warped. I feel a 'infinite crisis on infinite earths with infinitw octupus monsters' is in the works...

wait, just in from wikipedia. He doesn't stay a monster

here's how the arc goes down:
Jason has resurfaced in New York City, patrolling the streets as a murderous version of Nightwing. He executes a kidnapper, nearly beats a rapist to death, and even slices Dick Grayson's hand when the two spar on a rooftop. Jason shows no intention of giving up the Nightwing persona, and continues to taunt Grayson by wearing the costume and suggesting that the two become a crime-fighting team. Grayson naturally refuses to join his side and methods of crimefighting. Not long after the two Nightwings meet up, Jason is captured and imprisoned by unknown mobsters, leaving a very troubled and reluctant Grayson to rescue him. Jason is rescued by Grayson, however he has briefly acquired the ability to transform into an insectoid and swallow people. After helping Grayson defeat the Pierce brothers, Jason leaves New York City and the Nightwing mantle to Grayson, along with a telegram telling Grayson he has returned to normal and still considers them family.

I sent them to anyone that asked, there everyone is happy

Jost post them so we all gawk at the craptacular writing. I don't see the conflict here people.:o

well.........it wasn't neccessarily the scans..............*ahem*......it was the whole issue...............

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-

That's right.....man, I can't believe how lame this arc is..... I liked it better when he was totally the rage against Bruce..I mean, he was so.....and the way how he served to be the psychological weapon to Bruce..and the DAMN!!!! THAT VERSION OF JASON WAS COOL!!!! He was just (shudders) so total kick ass!!!!THIS ONE, the Nighwing book??? Um, can you smell the cheese? Can you smell how putrid and horrid this arc and this Jason was???......
You know as much as I love Nightwing...(and I am a fan), I don't mind if there is more then one...but if Jason turns into the octopus thing still wearing nightwing's costume....
We would have a new crime-fighter called Nightpu....um....never mind!!

i read that issue and threw up in my mouth a little...

must even jason be ***** slapped by these writers?

i mean look... hes not the greatest character, but the redhood was semi-interesting. was this really neccessary?

Isn't there a way to post the pic of him without getting people angry?
Can't it be blacked out or listed as a spoiler, or post the link to it?
its simple... just post a link to the picture... not the picture itself... i dont get why thats such a difficult concept...

He's not the only one. Dick has been treated like a stepchild in his own title. Wait, not that well...like a neighbor's stepchild who only visits every few weeks.
And it's HIS TITLE!

Haha, it's like in the 1960s when Jimmy Olsen was getting turned into apes and turtles every other week. :D

Anyone getting that Monty Python feeling like from holy grail Jason was turned into a squid/newt but he got better....

Im just saying Jason Todd being alive annoys enough people and pisses them off... but his existence is enough... did we really have to see him like that? And then the disappearing act? Dont poke the bears!!

Can I get a PM of the scans please if we're not posting em.

I'd like a PM too.

*is so very glad she dropped Nightwing months ago*

Sent... but be warned now.. you may stop reading comics all together after seeing what they did to Jason Todd... frightening. :(

Funny thing..I actually thought about picking this issue up, but when I opened it and saw not one...not two..but three 'Nightwings' I decided to pass.

Dont forget PG and SG are currently Nightwing and Flamebird

...so theres 4 nightwings

I'd like to see it. As little as I like Nightwing's current creative team, I'm almost tempted to go back to my shop and buy this issue as a gesture of support for the ****ing over of Jason Todd. Well played, DC. Well played.

Not anymore. This last Supergirl issue sort of broke up those characters.

Also I never really counted the PG Nightwing because it was based strongly off of and set in a culture that was heavily infulenced by Kryptonian myths.

Nightwing took his name from the same myth and created his own identity out of it, whereas PG just took it and used it without making it her own....it's sort of confusing but I don't count it.

Both PG and Dick Grayson took it from the original source...This chick and Jason are like copies..of a copy..of a copy...

True but
at the end Jason leaves and Dick's girl hangs up the tights so I think we're back to 1 nightwing

Since I dropped Nightwing around the time Jason first came to him as Nightwing himself can you give me a nutshell explination who exactly this chick is? *Other than red-headed, hot and with powers* Why she took on the name Nightwing? *awesome costume I must say*
and what exactly lead up to Jason's 'transformation' and how was it explained? Why did they do what you just mentioned?

*You can use spoiler tags* ;)

The chick is named Cheyenne. She's a fashion designer that Dick was banging.

I know that. :p
But what compelled her to stick on a cute outfit and go by the name Nightwing? When there were already two? :(

Oh, I don't know. I dropped Nightwing before she started playing dress-up.

That makes two of us. :p ;)

She was turning the superhero costume thing into a fashion trend... her designs were based on Nightwings outfit.. so when she went out she made a modified version of it for herself.
