So... How long will this last?

Both Battlestar Galactica and Lost, both of which I consider to be the best things on television, have their end dates planned and out in the open. The thing with Heroes is, as much as I love it, I dont want sucess to go to the producers heads and make them believe that this show can go for eight years, because lets face it, it cant. Shows that last eight seasons turn to s*** fast. And another thing with this show is that cast members could be dropping like flies and by season six, we could have none of the characters we had in season one, much like ER. I really dont want that. So, basically, how long do you think it will last? I personally think it could last five-six good seasons and end it there.

You're in luck! From the get go they only had the story outlined for 5 seasons. Anything else would be a spin off, I guess. That does assume they stick to their plans.

As long as they quit at the appropriate time (not prematurely, but not dragging the show), I'll be satisfied. The only Sci-Fi series that I can think that did that was Star Trek TNG.

Think it's gonna last for a good while. The show's got an awesome fanbase, an' I think that as long as they keep delivering the goods and not drag things with the characters but make 'em grow more and more each ep, we'll be in for some ****in great rides
