So how loud is the Super Slim?

I am considering getting a Super Slim, but some people (on the internet) have told me that its disc drive is exceedingly loud.

Are we talking 360 loud?

Or are they just exaggerating?

I'm curious how it compares to the old models. Any accounts from Super Slim owners (or regular users) would be appreciated.

My super slim is silent. Like... I couldn't believe it was on doesn't make a sound silent.

Its loud when you first turn it on but that goes away after a few seconds.

yeah the only real sound you hear is when a disc is loading or reading off the disc but when it is done it is very quiet and mine is out in the open on top of one of my 2 speakers near my TV.

Hey guys, sorry for the late response, I didn't realize people had answered.

That's good to hear. Some people on the internet had been talking about how loud it is, and that had me a little concerned. I rather dislike overly loud consoles. Well, really just my current 360.
