This is not a 'happy birthday me' thread far from it. 30 to me always seemed a age so far away. I remember vividly 1989 and being so excited as a 11 year old for Batman. now 19 years have flown by and i'm nearly 30.

If i'm totally honest it scares me, another 19 years i'll be 49 one away from the big 50. On a basic level i'm terrified of getting old and to me 30 is starting to get old, next stop 40.

The point of this thread? i'm not entirely sure, just that damn i dont wanna be old.

I've been 18 for a week and it feels no different from when I was 16 actually.

hitting 30 is overrated. I felt no older and I still act very young.

Then again... I don't look 30.... I guess that helps.

I dont look 30 either i'm told 23, but i still know i'm nearly 30.

And damn i remember turning 18. Many a moon ago.

In my ahem ...30's and I still act like a dumb ass teenager. Although, I don't feel like ti some days.

It's a mental discomfort; don't worry about it. You'll waste time thinking about it and turn it into a larger issue. If it's any consolation, you don't hit your peak physically until your early 30's and your metabolism doesn't start to taper off until 35.

I'll be 30 next year! Oh we the grown ups, meant to rule the world..............................wha

30 is nothing, I turned 38 back in August. That is just 2 years till I am 40. And there isn't a day that goes by that my wife doesn't tease me about it. But you know what? So far my 30's have been the best years of my life. I met the woman of my dreams and married her, I have a awesome 6 year old son and a great job all after I turned 30. So think of it as something great. Hell I was more depressed over 25 then I was at 30. Man 25 that is a quarter of a century....

I don't look 29 at all either :woot:

YOu stop regenerating faster than you die off at around 29, but thirty isn't old, anything past fifty is old. I turned nineteen today and felt old going to high school so it's all relative.

I'm 28 and so is my wife. She's freakin cause she'll be 30 soon. I say your'e only as old as you feel. I feel just like I did at 18. I can do the same things and look practically the same. Age ain't nuthin but a number...unless your'e 100.:word:

Do you know anyone who is 60? If it's any consolation, in order for you to reach their age, you're going to have live your whole lifetime thus far once more.

I'm 29 in just over a month

I feel great, look young, and am as hyper as a 5-year-old.

F* age! I am who I am :word:

That's the spirit. Go get 'em champ.

I am twenty one, but being around a bunch of fresh out of high school, college freshman is making me feel a little old.

I'm remember turning 30. I'm 37 now dating a 47 year old who tries to keep up with me and my many activities. He told me the other day when I got out of the shower that I looked 16 with my hair wet, yay. :O

I am on the wrong side of 50 and I wish I was turning 30 again. 30 is so young.
