Something brought up in the Aicn review...Who the hell would want to live in an ice-palace??? Will it be because there won't be any choice after lex builds his new city??

Well, at least identify the right KIND of plot hole.

New Krypton is CRYSTAL, not Ice!

Duh...

Crystals, not Ice... And I assume that he would get development going before people moved in

[Thinks to self] *sigh* even if I tell them I used to the word "ice" as just a funny way of describing Kryptonian architecture, not that I believe it's actually cold in the fortress, they still wouldn't believe me [/thinks to self] I have to be very careful how I phrase things in the future. Let me ask again: Who would want to live in a crystal warehouse??

If donner would have done Krypton right, we wouldn't have to worry about the damn Crystals in the first place

Someone who wouldn't have to worry about building materials, since crystal based structures are grown? It's a plot point Lex clearly mentions in the story.

Read the newest Superman Comic, Lex Luthor grows a Kryptonian Battlecruiser and tries to destroy Metropolis. It's a pretty fun read.

The point behind lex plan. He can create his own landmass. And when you create your own land mass you have your own domain to control. For anyone who could afford it. They can have unlimited control of their domain. Its like movie stars who buy mansions when they could be happy in a everyday house.

Considering the crystals are thousands of years more advanced than our own technology, I would think there would be some rather appealing aspects to them besides looking like ice. The newest issue of Superman illustrates this pretty well, I think.

land is power. indestructable land made out of space age technology is even more power.

You should read the current issue of superman. The art is simply amazing. Ill give a few scans if you email me.

Here's the "origin" of the Kryptonian Battlecruiser. The thing goes on for the whole issue, but obviously it'd be illegal for me to upload that much of it.

well, someone who could fly. I mean if you could fly, you'd need a lot of room

wait...are you saying who would want to live on new krypton after lex creates it? well the answer to that is "want" is not an option. by creating those landmasses billions will die. and lex has power to do anything. so people would be forced to live there or die. lets hope that cooled this thread like i've cooled many other threads.
