I was reading this thread Women and fighting when this came on the news Mother Shot to Death,Car Set On Fire:eek: :(

I'm at a lose for words. I know there are violent crimes against women everyday and there is a whole mess of crazy **** going down at the moment, but that doesn't mean I can't pause and be like wtf  I'm pretty close to tears by this. :(

Mother Shot to Death, Car Set On Fire

WASHINGTON - D.C. police are investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast where a woman was shot dead and her car set on fire.

At approximately 5:43 a.m. Thursday a 39-year-old woman was shot on the 300 block of Raleigh Place in Southeast D.C.

Family members have identified the victim as Kimberly Jones.

According to WJLA, Jone's 20-year-old daughter had just arrived home from an overnight work shift and gave her the keys to their mini-van. As the daughter closed the front door she heard three or four "pops." After running back outside, she discovered the car was set on fire and her mother had been shot to death.

The news also stated that this neighborhood has had 2 lesbians killed and that those were suspect as hate crimes
This women was a construction worker and a lesbian.

I don't know maybe I'm PMSing and just super sensitive :(

I'm also freakin out about a woman getting run over by a dump truck.

Too much hate I can't take it,I'll have to stop watching the news, around this time of the month.

No,but I am a construction worker
What does that have to do with it

Last month I was choked up over them finding some poor young pizza delivery boy's remains down the street from me :(

Was he a victim of robbery? Did they find out who did it?

This was in Md.
We had a lot of flooding down the road, they closed the street. But not before his car was sweeped away by flood waters. His car was towed but the company wrote the plate number wrong. So no one knew where to look for over a week. The last 2 calls on his cell was to his roommate and 911. Once they figured out the car, they found his shirt,by the resorvior, with his freakin name on it and then discoverd the body in the next county over. I was really messed up by the that. :(. That was PMS that day for sure, but the detective work was :down

Ive been hearing a increase in resentment towards women.Hate crimes against them in the USA and in Great Britain also.Keep in mind that there are reports of young men from both countries ranging in the age from 18-29 who have never had a girlfriend.

This resentment results in more anger, and with no way to get rid of this anger.Thoughts turn to violence, there was an attack in a subway in London a few months ago, which was linked to this actually.

Well, if you are a religious person, I would suggest your pray, or talk to one of your local religious advisors.

If you are not religious, I'd just advise taking what safety prevention measures you can. Maybe get the neighbourhood involved, organize a watch or something, or do something to promote tolerance of women in the workplace.

The best way to cure PMS (literal and metaphorical ;) ) is to involve yourself in action.

I don't live in the 'hood where those women were assinated,it's just messed up

What's that about

The women was hard working. I was only making a refrence to work only to say that I can relate to being a hard working women, but I'm not concerned about anyone doing anything to me at work,,they know better.Oh and,I'm not a lesbian. But if I was I don't think I should be shot in the head and my car set on fire in front of my child.

This area hand cameras but no tape, so nothing was recorded :(

And being involved can only cause my PMS do be worse :(
