I don't want to read any of the other threads for fear of spoilers but I was a fan of the original Heroes series and hung in there until the end.

Not sure I could devote time to being let down again though.

Fool me once etc etc

For those who have watched it (has the finale aired yet?), how do you think this season holds up?

I think it has 3 more eps this coming year, not 100% sure on the number but it isn't over yet.

I've enjoyed it. It really picked up after the first four or so. Not that it was bad but some things weren't quite right until after some explaining. I think so far it is better than the last two seasons of Heros.

I dropped the original series near the end of S2, but have enjoyed Reborn so far.

Yes, it has been paying off. The digitizing powered guy is a bit silly bc of his powers, but it's also fascinating. Katana Girl having his daughters likeness, doing...other things I won't spoil. But everyone else is cool. Except for Latino guy, whose name I can't remember. His story is kind of dragging, but it certainly doesn't weigh down the show. And once they fuse the stories, I'm sure he'll be relevant.

I was a huge Heroes fan back in the day. I watched all the webiseries, the e-comic that went well after the show, and just liked it all around. I will still admit that season 2 and 3 are rough. Loose ends still not addressed. But yea, I liked this world. It's been fun.

Speaking of webseries to the show, Reborn has a prelude called Dark Matters. http://www.nbc.com/heroes-reborn/dark-matters/episodes Pretty cool revving up towards the show if you decide to watch it.
