Blade's a great character and I for one would love to see more of him. I thought Trinity was horrible but Blade: The Series was getting better and better with each ep. As far as I know, there's no plans to continue the series, although I did hear rumor of a direct to DVD conclusion of the series depending on DVD sales. I likewise haven't heard much about a new Blade movie so what's up?

It might be a good time for marvel to do a proper animated series/movie with the character. There's more edgy stuff coming out these days and Blade could be a good fit.

The first 2 Blade's were fantastic, the third one was dissapointing. Also, I agree that there should be a proper Blade animated series.

Animated Series STRAIGHT UP would be tight. Why can't they take a cue from the animated HBO "Spawn?" That series was amazing.

Maybe if the Black Panther series on BET is a success...then they might do a Blade animated series. Also....Snipes hasn't had a movie in theaters since Trinity....so what better way to get back on screen with another Blade movie.

If Snipes doesn`t return. I have other contender for a new blade.

Jamie Foxx-won an Oscar for playing Ray Charles.
Omar Epps-most recent claim to fame is "House", starred in "Love & Basketball" & some bad "life in the hood" movies.
Tyrese Gibson-was last seen in "Transformers", "Death Race" & also did some bad "life in the hood" movies.

Brian J White for Blade. Martial artist. Up and comer. Has played too many cocky characters but I liked him a lot in his darker role on The Shield

I don't like Brian J White his face. he doesn`t look tough enough

Omar Epps is more the type of Snipes. But he really need to beef up!

I would still like to see Michael J. White get a crack at him, preferably live-action, but animated form would be cool too. White isn't the best actor, but he has the physicality, the voice, and the right aura to be a more worthy successor to Wesley Snipes than Kirk Jones was, though Jones was getting better.

Animated Blade might be cool if they keep it R rated, or at least push the boundaries on PG-13. I'm not a big anime fan, but I could perhaps see Blade as an anime series.

I always saw Micheal Jay white as Luke Cage but yeah! He can certainly handle Balde easily.

Now that I think about it It`s time for Marvel to do a Black Superhero movie. Either Blade,Black Panther or Luke Cage. It`s more then 4 years ago since we saw Blade trinity.

They should get avon barksdale to play Blade or at least Luke Cage.
And Omar for the Black Panther.

OK, OK (just a big fan of the Wire). Any suggestions ?

I think it's time to let the character go, the 3rd movie already ruined the series. We don't need another disaster.

I don't know about that, ISS. If everyone adhered to that way of thinking, our last memory of Batman would be this.

As opposed to this.

God, no. I'm just saying we don't necessarily have to give up.
You know how you might have an exterminator come out & get rid of all your roaches? Sometimes there's an egg or larvae left behind that survives, & when it matures, it & all its young are now immune to the particular poison that the exterminator used. This same mentality can be applied to the Daystar virus.
