Because DC's current dictatorship and underlings will not give the readers what they want, and that is fine and good enough, but then they shove things down our throat we do not want.

I've seen some of the artwork for the "comic adaptation" so it might come out later. I just don't know why they didn't release it during the movie hype...strange!

What artwork? Are you sure you're not confusing it with the Totino's mini comics?
