Which do you like solo hero books or team hero books? Me personally I prefer team books.

Usually I prefer solo, but teams can be fun as long as the writer knows what he's doing.

I will echo the above statement. It all depends on how the book is handled. Most of the titles that I buy are solo books, but for awhile I was a big fan of JLA--when it was written well. I enjoy Green Lantern and GLC, but GLC can at times feel muddled because too much is going on. The Walking Dead on the other hand has loads of characters but it never feels like too much. Each character feels fully fleshed out. It is more like do you prefer good writing or bad writing.

Yeah, I mostly prefer good books about interesting characters. There's nothing about a team book that makes it inherently better, or inherently more likely to be better, and the same is true of solo books.

I'm always weirded out by questions like this. Do comics really fit that neatly into easily definable categories of team=good, solo=bad to you? Should they?

I was going to say "I love both equally," but I have a stack of unsorted comics I've bought over the past month sitting on my desk. I looked at them, and I saw X-Men, X-Factor, Justice Society, MI-13-- oh, and Thor.

A vast majority of comics I read have teams in them. I guess I just gravitate toward them more often. Still, I love a good solo comic.
