hey all,

i need some help. i was at a friend's house friday afternoon and we were in his work email and noticed that it showed me as signed in and online even though i wasn't. all of our work accounts are gmail, so it showed it on the quick contacts/chat function. we asked them who it was via chat and the account was immediately signed out.

i emailed gmail support, but all they did was reply with an automated response and none of their suggestions helped me.

i can still access my account, nothing has been changed. i changed my password immediately after this occured and haven't notice anything since, but i am trying to find out the IP address of the user you logged into my email.

any suggestions?

while that would certainly get the job done, i don't think it is in the budget for this year. :cwink:

Also, check your pc for a keylogger.

not always, some of the better ones are considered legit security programs by the OS.

This is also why I don't use public computers.

On the computer with your email, are you the only one who uses it?
