Sommers Is Out As Director

Out of that list, I'd like Peter Berg.

I do like Tony Scott, too. True Romance is my favourite movie. The Last Boy Scout is pretty high on the list as well.

I'm also going to suggest Joe Carnahan.

I'd put Peter Berg on as director, just so it captures somewhat of the feel of the first movie while still being his own thing. He can go big like Bay and Sommers but he actually makes it come off smarter.

The IGN list is terrible.

I wouldn't mind Joe Carnahan since I enjoyed A-Team for the most part and Caranahan does seem to respect the military.

I'd suggest Peter Berg, but he's already directing Battleship and I have a feeling that he wouldn't want to take on another movie in the same genre.
