''Something in the Air'' also happens to be a David Bowie song, who, as we all know, has a role in The Prestige.

I didn't even think about that.

Bowie for Riddler!!

;)

set me free at the end of the hulk

and also

somewhere over the rainbow/it's a wonderful world combo at the end of meet joe black.

i guess teh life of brian's 'always look on the bright side of life' should really be a given since it's the most famous but everyone is going to forget to mention it until they read this post, heck i almost forgot to mention it myself.

(surprise surprise)

You all should be ashamed for forgetting the best ending credits song ever....

Heh. :woot:

I thought about adding that one to my list, but the line about Raphael being the leader of the group always threw me off. :ninja:

Revenge Of The Sith- the montage of Star Wars themes was amazing, but even better on the OST

Parole Officer - Heroes by David Bowie

Mortal Kombat- The Mortal Kombat Theme (Ok I just like that song, who doesnt :woot:)

And I guiltily must add: the credit music for "A Goofy Movie" ("I2I" sung by Tevin Campbell) I always found to be strangely addicting as well. :o So sue me.

You Wanted More - Tonic - American Pie
Ghostbusters (Run-DMC version) - Ghostbusters II
In This Diary - The Ataris - The Perfect Score
Step Up - Drowning Pool - The Punisher
How Can I Live - Ill Nino - Freddy Vs Jason
Beginning Of The End- Spineshank - Freddy Vs Jason
The End Of Heartache - Killswitch Engage - Resident Evil Apocalypse
Won't Back Down - Fuel - Daredevil
Whatever Happened To The Heroes- Joss Stone - Fantastic four
Waiting (Save Your Life)- Omnisoul - Fantastic Four

My first thought was that song that played at the end of that movie with Howie Mendell and Fred Savage.

There are too many to count (whether it's a song from the soundtrack or musical score). But regarding the subject, I find it extremely irritating that TV stations cut to commercial immediately when the credits start and squeeze them into a corner.

I've always loved the effect of ending a movie and going into the credits (it can be as satisying as actual scenes in the movie).

Some (songs) off the top of my head...

Kill Bill V2 - Malaguena Salerosa
Eternal Sunshine - whatever that was

Themes/musical scores...

Superman - of course
Scarface - Gina's theme
Predator - I've always loved the end credits showing the whole cast with the Predator theme.
The Omen - I like the somber musical score in the end leading into the credits.
The Last Samurai - "A Measure of peace"
Enter the Dragon
Halloween

Music tracks...

Reign of Fire - "Burn" and "Walk Away" by Mad at Gravity
Batman Forever - hated the movie but liked the songs "Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me" by U2 and "Kiss From a Rose" by Seal.
Beverly Hills Cop - "Stir it up" by Patti Labelle
Best of the Best - "Something So Strong" by Jim Capaldi
The Crow - "It can't rain all the time" by Jane Siberry and "Big Empty" by Stone Temple Pilots
Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives - "The Man Behind the Mask" by Alice Cooper.
Troy - "Remember" by Josh Groban
Rocky III - "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor
The Wraith - "Where's the Fire" by Tim Feehan
Top Gun - "Mighty Wings" by Cheap Trick
LOTR: The Two Towers - Gollum's song
Young Guns II - "Blaze of Glory" by Bon Jovi
Judgment Night - "Fallin" by De La Soul & Teenage Fanclub

Back to the future - Huey Lewis and the News
Ghostbusters 2- Bobby Brown On Our Own

Edgewater- Eyes Wired Shut. (End of The Punisher)

The music played over the end credits of 'Alien' was cool, it's calm and hopeful, unlike the movie.
