Songs you are fed up of hearing

I will always love you by Dolly Parton but sung by Whitney Houston. Great song but after seeing the damned video every and all day when it was released and every channel playing it killed it.

One night at a karaoke bar I heard patrons sing "Bohemian Rhapsody" no less than three times over the course of the evening. Come on, guys! It's one of those great songs that I've heard too often to really enjoy anymore.

There are so many great Queen songs that people in North America don't really know; for some reason they seemed to lose popularity here after 1980.

P.S. Def Leppard were awesome in their heyday.

Most of my friends have never heard Show Must Go On or I Want It All, in my opinion those are better than We Will Rock You or We Are The Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody is still probably my favorite though.

That's 97% of the songs played on the radio.

Which is why me and the radio don't get along 97% of the time. IDK maybe its because I've gotten older and heard so much music that I'm jaded, but I'm reaching the point where I struggle to find any new music that I like. I've always listened to music from foreign countries, but now I find it is my only refuge. American music is just **** most of the time nowadays. Still got the American rock classics, but I don't want to burn them out.

I agree with this. I mean, I'm not overly annoyed with it, I just don't get the appeal of the song. It's everywhere.

He refused to play it a couple of weeks ago at a small gig...pretty sure he hates it himself now. Heard this song, with We Are Young right after. Horrible and still catchy!!!

that "somebody that i used to know" song

A friend let me listen to it before it was on the radio, and I liked it. A week later it was on the radio. Now I can't go an hour without hearing it! Tired of my local ****** radio stations running songs into the ground.:cmad:

I actually like it. I think it's a cool breakup song that's not overly dramatic, plus you hear both sides of the relationship.

Have to agree with Somebody I Used to Know. It's on every radio station, all day, no matter the genre of the station, either. It's getting a bit silly.

It's too bad, too, because I originally enjoyed it. Now it's like somebody is feeding me subliminal hate every time I hear it.

Womanizer: even for Britney Spears this song is bad

I Gotta Feeling: this track is to hip hop what "We Build This City" is to rock. I stop going to weddings to avoid this damn song.

The "Somebody I Used to Know" song by Gotya or whatever the hell that guy's name is. You can just tell he thinks he's the greatest singer in the world.

Have you learned your lesson? Never listen to the radio. :o

It does that.

Anything LMFAO or 3OH!3. I ****ing hate both of those "artists" with every fiber of my being. I stopped going out to the bars my friends frequent simply because my soul couldn't handle hearing "party rock" one more goddamn time.

Anything by Black Eye Peas.
Oh my god, yes. I DETEST their "music".
Also, "Paradise" by Coldplay. I know it's a little old, but I was so disappointed by it after hearing their Viva La Vida album that any time I hear it, I want to punch the radio in the face. In regards to Gotye, I used to love "Somebody That I used to Know". That was before they began playing it non-stop on every radio station ever. But it did lead me to check out their other songs, which are pretty cool, so I guess there is an upside...

FRIDAY

good god that song is annoying and needs to die.
it made me freeze up on my own writing and got me wondering IF I SHOULD REALLY STOP MAKING POP-CULTURAL REFERENCES. Buhhumbug
