This is like the 4th one of these. Marble Hornets did a movie, there's an HBO Documentary on those girls who attempted murder for Slender Man, I saw another movie literally called "Slender Man" at Walmart just a couple days ago.

Slender Man scratches a primal fear humans have from their hunter gatherer days. Fear of the thing hiding in the shadows just out of the corner of your eye. So while the internet may have moved on from Slenderman it wouldnt be hard for a good horror film to rekindle the fear of Slenderman.

That being said, this is Sony pictures and I have no confience in this film.

If any Cinematic Universe is going to be made from Slender Man I think it's going to be a creepypasta universe. Jeff the Killer, Squidward's Suicide, Ben Drowned, Russian Sleep Experiment, and this one directed by James Wan.

Have you ever seen him?

He's never gonna get any other types of work except maybe mocap work. Maybe some small background roles. Its the same with Doug Jones. They are very well suited to work in a specific niche in the industry. It's what they are good at.

Besides, being typecast isn't a bad thing unless the person is some big time leading actor that gets bored easily. Actors like Jones and Botet probably don't mind having a consistent niche that they can work well in.
