No problem and your welcome. I got more sites and blogs on movie soundtrack if you want any :)

Just for the sake of making this thread a bit more interesting, how about we hold our Soundtrack discussions and such in here?

As far as favorite lyrical soundtrack based on a comic book film, that easily goes to Daredevil.

I also love the scores to Batman by Elfman, the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films from the Maestro, and Robocop from Basil Poledouris.

That would be awesome, there's a lot of movie scores and soundtrack to be talk about too. I'm in :woot:

There's always composers to talk about such as David Holmes of the Ocean's Trilogy, Ennio Morricone for his spaghetti western music, Clint Mansel's similarity to post-rock genre, etc. We can also discuss the usage of musicians in sound scoring. For example, Pharrell Williams involvement in Voltron to score the movie.

Film adaptation

In July 2005, producer Mark Gordon announced a collaboration with producer Pharrell Williams as well as producers Mark Costa and Frank Oelman to make a live-action film adaptation of the franchise. Pharrell Williams was also reported to score the film.[2] In December 2006, screenwriter Justin Marks was announced to have completed a script for Gordon.[3]

Well, it may be endless if I would talk about it :woot:

lol yeah I suppose so.

But it's late, so I'm sure once it gets to more suitable hours, more people'll chime in.

As for me, I'm also a fan of Leonard Rosenman, who's work includes a few of the Star Trek films and Robocop 2.

I also love James Horner's Aliens score, and the music John Cale produced for American Psycho.

John Carpenter's score for Halloween...

There's so much great music out there.

I would like to think that jerry Goldsmiths(RIP :( ) is one of the greatest, his late star trek suite were brilliant specifically First Contact..

I love the first Conan and Robo soundtracks, both great and by the same guy.

Not to forget, he did Rambo's trilogy tremendously. So sad he isn't here anymore :(

Whoa, yeah the Rambo trilogy has a badass soundtrack, cept it is not a trilogy.

I haven't heard the scoring Basil Poledouris except one, The Wild Bunch which is alright (heard it only once and need to hear it more :word: )

Recently I d/l Smokin' Aces by Clint Mansel & Phone Booth by Harry Gregson-Williams and haven't hear it yet

Yes it is, a truly great composer, i happen to think his supergirl score is the one he was going to use for superman before donner changed his mind and used williams and his iconic fantastic score.

Its a shame he will not be here to compose for John Rambo.:csad: :csad:
