Animation South Park

I mean, I also think they are not quite as hard working as they were before.

How much time are they committing to that Casa Bonita of theirs? If at all?

But I do agree that the two probably aren't working as hard- one, because of the two week breaks, and two, because of the gaps between seasons in general. They probably haven't been under any rush or obligation to get new seasons ready because Comedy Central knows that a new season will come when Matt and Trey are ready. Plus, they could always fall back on those streaming specials in the meantime.

They're also both in their mid-50's so of course the output isn't going to be the same for them as it was 10-20 years ago.

I'm not sure if those are going to be a thing anymore now that Paramount has full streaming rights. I could be off base with this but I assumed part of the reason why that deal was struck was so Paramount+ had exclusive South Park content that couldn't be streamed on HBO Max. The new $1.5B deal they signed only mentions episodes and not specials so I wouldn't be surprised if those aren't happening moving forward.
