Spaceballs: The TV series

I dont remember Spaceballs being so porn-like................aw my childhood. :csad:

This cartoon will make the Clone Wars cartoon seem like a noble endeavor. :down

Seriously, when was Space Balls about boobie jokes? And Homestar Runner has better animation than that preview (and is actually funny). I can't believe that Mel Brooks is actually managing to do to Spaceballs something even worse than what George Lucas is doing to Star Wars.

This is what a proper return to Spaceballs should have been:

I wanted to find out how Lord Helmet became room mates with Lonestar's father's cousin's best friend's brother! Also, he should have been played by that weird kid from Jerry Maguire.

^^^ LOL! They should have done it in a live-action tv series.

Well, first of all, you've included the words "seriously" and "boobie jokes" in the same sentence, but boobie jokes are usually pretty funny. Secondly, Spaceballs is full of sexual innuendo and yes, boobs, so it's not exactly a stretch for the show to take it on the subject.

Wow, I just saw the trailer for this. When I first heard of it I had high hopes, but it looks like horse ****. And Helmet looks like Stewie in the FG SW spoof. :csad:

I'm still waiting for my Spaceballs: The Flame-Thrower.

Just watched the clip. WAY too many body part jokes. And they're so blatantly obvious. It's like "LOOK!!!! BOUNCING BOOBS!!!! THAT'S FUNNY!!!! AND A SHIP THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE A PENIS!!!!! FUNNY!!!!!!"

Christ look at that animation, it makes Family Guy look good :(

The Spaceballs animated series on G4 sucks!

The animation is cheap garbage. I can't believe this is what they did to Spaceballs. I heard about the show a year ago and didn't know when it was coming out then I noticed it on the other day, I was so dissapointed.

And the only good thing is Mel Brooks reprising his roles from the movie.

Joan Rivers and the Princess are back as well.

I am so sick of this cheap animation crap. Just about every cartoon nowadays is like a frickin' stick figure. Filmation 60's cartoons looked better!

Spaceballs has alot of fans out there that deserve better. Either do it right or not at all.

That goes for all cartoons. Spend some money.

I miss the good old days. Batman the animated series was the last series to look great.

Spaceballs TAS is about as bad as the garbage they play on Adult Swim on cartoon network, that is if they actually play cartoons, with garbage like tim and Eric that's not even funny.

Seems like ever since they killed Saturday mornings by saying everything had to be educational animation just went to hell. And I know Spaceballs isn't meant as a kids show but it's still a cheap piece of crap.

And they didn't even put educational cartoons on, it just ended up being a bunch of infomercials it didn't matter, kids just went to Cartoon network or Nickelodeon, so no educational shows there, just mostly cheap stick figures. Or horrible CGI. That's another thing I am so sick of the CGI garbage, regular animation when done right is so much more beautiful.

I DVR'd 4 eps the other days and got around to watching one last night. It wasn't funny at all. ...AT ALL.

I think I'm going to give the next ep about 5 minutes before deciding whether or not to get trash them all and not bother again. This idea had potential.

seriously, it's not like it would have cost very much, given that the satire in the movie helped everything look kind of cheesy and peiced together, which woudl work perfectly for a TV budget 'trying to look realistic'

It could have been worse I guess, they could have gotten the directors of "disaster movie" to do a spaceballs sequel.

This was absolutely horrible....it wasn't even funny in the slightest. It was just plain dumb.

the whole idea is stupid and star wars and spoofing has gotten out of hand.

No Rick Moranis, No Bill Pullman, No George Wyner = Epic Fail.

I saw the episodes, they were awful.

That would not be as painful as seeing Mel Brooks' name attached to this. :(

you just don't do this with a tv series.

i tried, i really did. but this is just horrible
