ok so after the first games success it’s inevitable there will be a second one. So what would you like to see?

I want to see spiderverse happen and playable miles obviously. Everyone complained about the MJ missions but I think there’s a way to do that which could work well. For example,

the mission where you explored norman’s Office was really clever and spoke heaps about who he is

I know the ending hinted at green goblin as well but I hope they do something new with him, not just the usual glider stuff mission. I could even live without the goblin appearing. Oh and I want Mysterio to appear! His missions were some of the most fun in the Spider-Man 2 game

And I think it would be fun to include spider-Gwen

I'd like to see him race Daredevil or Human Torch to a crime scene if you go in areas they cover mostly, more bonus points for the longer distance you leave between the two of you once you reach the target.

I would love to see Daredevil or any of the other street level heroes and anti-heroes show up, not all of them, but one or two of them would be cool if they could find a good use for them in the story. I'd also like some flashback missions as young(er) Peter to show his early days as Spidey, both as a parallel to Miles and as a way to add some scenes with Harry to develop the character since he'll no doubt play a much bigger role in the second game. And I know I'm a broken record on this, but I want Queens added to the next games map.

Team up missions with Daredevil would be cool. They could take inspiration from the co-op missions you did with Robin in Arkham Knight.

Only thing I can think of right now is more combat moves. Right now combat fells a little bit limited fells like we need a few more like special movies besides like the trinalge circle one.

I'd like the actual web swinging to get changed a bit, it feels good, but I'd like it to be more physics based in the next game and let us hang onto the web until we let go, not just automatically release it, it'd be fun to be able to use our momentum to do a full vertical loop on the webline off of cranes, maybe a middle ground between the Ultimate Spider-Man web swinging and the SM2 web swinging, so that it's more physics based, but not so much that it's hard to control, and of course done to modern control standards, since USM and SM2 can feel kinda dated (especially SM2), it'd be nice to be able to just trust the web swinging mechanics to swing us around corners on its own, that's something that feels great in USM but in this game we just go straight forward regardless of where the webline is attached, how much momentum we have, and where we are in our swing. Wall crawling also should probably be completely overhauled, it's one of the few things in the game that I think isn't done well, a more polished version of the crawling from the ASM games would be excellent.

Oh my gosh yes there’s definitely some fun level design you can do with sandman. It would be fun if we can vacuum him up or turn him into mudman or something

Gosh imagine how great an iron man game would be though? One of the executives on twitter said he wanted Spider-Man (the game) to be the ‘iron man’ of the video game world, as in it expands everything and paves the way for future instalments. That would be fun

In terms of new costumes what would you like to see? I’m dying to play as Spider-Man India and to be honest I was a bit sad the amazing bagman wasn’t included. Someone said it would have something to do with the FF getting frozen out by Disney but obviously that’s not an issue anymore

I didn't mean the annoying kind of races that are existent in previous Spider-Man games, and nothing required to complete the game 100%, just a simple touch that would make the expansive universe more containing. Maybe even side by side with the other guy and share some banter.


I'd like to see the Iron-Spider from the comics.

Yeah fair enough. I literally didn’t even complete one race in LEGO marvel superheroes 2 because they were so frustrating. Iron spider would be fun. We kind of saw him in the last one. But a more advanced suit would be cool

- Expanded map (include parts of Brooklyn and Queens)
- More finishing moves and variety in combat and swinging
- More gadgets
- Ability to fully customize a suit from scratch. Choose/design a spider logo and change colors.
- Play as other superheroes, including:

The first game gave Insomniac a great foundation to build off of for sequels.

Being able to customize a suit from scratch would be amazing. Insomniac got to make their own terrible designs, it's our turn now!

It would be cool to do that, they could give us some design layouts, and let us pick the texture, colors (within reason), lens shape, design of the front/back emblems, webbing pattern, and choose if the webbing is flat, raised, or embossed. Maybe have more options open up as we unlock new suits.

Customisable costumes would definitely be interesting. One of the appeals of the first game was the selfie feature which helped promote the game to other potential customers so I would say they will want to focus on that again

I must admit I did try to go down to the subway and I was sad when I couldn’t. Going to queens would be fun. Imagine how much fun it would be if the next game began with you playing as Spider-Man in his early days. You could even do the uncle Ben scene maybe. That would instantly hook the player

I must admit I’m a bit sad because I heard a rumour that Japanese Spider-Man was playable in this one.

Aside from what others have mentioned, I want to see J. Jonah Jameson in person and not just as a podcast. An homage to the original PS1 game where Spidey has to save him would be fun. For that matter, let's see the Bugle crew while we're at it. Robbie, Betty, Eddie Brock, maybe Ben Urich...

Playing as Japanese Spider-Man would be awesome! I love that this first PS4 game created a good foundation for future games to come. They have a lot to build off of and a lot of cool new things that they can add to it.

The foundation set is like what the first Arkham game did and it will probably be a persistent future franchise now with tonnes of possibilities.

They let us play as Miles in this first game without powers, no way are they going to not let us play as him now that he does have powers, at the least they'll let us play as him in a few missions, maybe give us an option to switch to him during free-roam later in the game.

I know but I actually like him better than Peter I just find Miles more interesting than Peter. However that isn't saying much since I liked Ultimate Peter and this Peter better than 616 Peter.

I don't think I could ever find Miles better than Peter Parker, but I do like him as an accompanying character. It would be pretty cool to see him as a sidekick and perhaps play as him for a few missions as another Spider-Man.

My concern is that they are going to kill of Peter and make Miles the main character of one of the future games.
