The Festival della canzone italiana (in english: Festival of the Italian song) is a popular Italian song contest running since 1951 and held annually in the city of Sanremo. Usually referred to as Festival di Sanremo, or outside Italy as Sanremo Music Festival, it was the inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest.
For some years (from 1953 to 1971, except 1956) each song was sung twice by two different interpreters (singer or band). The festival has been used as the way of choosing Italy's Eurovision entry from 1956 to 1966, in 1972 and 1997.
The Festival is transmitted live on TV Rai Uno in Eurovision Network since 1955. From 1951 to 1954 it was transmitted only on radio RAI.

No, nothing on the Sanremo site. But Sony Pictures has announced that there will be a 60 sec 'Spider-Man 3' preview during Sanremo which airs Saturday on 9pm. Here's the official press release (in Italian). It also says that the preview will be online Monday on the official Italian 'Spider-Man 3' website:

"Sabato 3 marzo, durante la serata finale del Festival di Sanremo, subito prima della proclamazione dei vincitori, tutti i fan italiani che aspettano di vedere Spiderman-3, il terzo attesissimo capitolo delle avventure del mitico uomo ragno, potranno gustarsi in anteprima 60 secondi di immagini inedite, in esclusiva su RaiUno.

Il film, per la regia di Sam Raimi e con un cast che comprende Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst e James Franco, uscirà in contemporanea sugli schermi di tutto il mondo il 4 maggio distribuito da Sony Pictures Releasing Italia.

Well, they've just shown a 'Spider-Man 3' preview. I don't know if it was that preview (but I think so) as there were just a few new scenes:

- A scene with Norman and Harry Osborn
- Harry walking out of the chamber (where his father was 'transformed')
- A shot of Peter crying
- Some new shots of the Harry vs. Peter scene

The other ones were scenes of the theatrical trailer we all know.

No Venom, of course
