For those that haven't read X-Factor #8, Spider-man makes an apperance. Seems like Siryn has noticed that Cyclops recognized Layla Miller in the last issue but pretended he didn't know here. Seeing as they feel the X-men aren't telling them the truth about what happen on M-Day, they've taken to questioning higher profile heros in hopes of finding some clues. Siryn comes across Spider-man stopping a crook, helps him out during the rescue of a little girl. All of this results in her using one aspect of her powers, (which as I understand it can causes people to fall in love with you temporaryly due to the sound of her voice, hence her name) to cause Spider-man to tell her everything about what causes the Decimation!

Not only has Shield taken the info but now X-Factor has it. Still I'm not upset about X-Factor getting it. Least he wasn't harmed here and X-Factor is trying to do good and Siryn > (by a lot) Hill in my book. Still looks like this is leading to a Astonishing X-men vs. X-Factor showdown cause X-Factor seems to be pissed they were being lied to by Cyclops and his team, to their faces this whole time. Starting to wonder if this is why the other two X-men teams take off to difference places, once they find out Cyclops and Astonishing have been keeping this secret.

Anyway, jus thought I'd let you know he appeared and what happen with him. This was before his unmasking in Civil War 2 and Amazing Spider-man 532/533. Wouldn't say not to long before it. Say inbetween Civil War 1 and 2.

Thanks for the info. I don't read X-factor, so I wouldn't have known about that. Sounds pretty cool.

I know Spidey is supposed to be the underdog but seriously, there were other heros involved with HOM. Why is Spidey always the one to be brain ****ed?

Spidey usually gets the crap end of the stick... except for the whole super model wife thing

It just seems like its getting to the point where Spidey can't keep a secret due to his recent recklessness and mind rapes. I like mysterious Spidey, not easily manipulated Spidey.:down

He needs to stay away from Siryn or Deadpool will kick his ass.

Doubtful. Spidey seemed to be having no problem with Deadpool in their last meeting.

Lol, thats what my original bought thought post said :D

And Cap, that was a more influenced by Cable Deadpool. Much, much nicer, and less prone to using handguns and swords, take Wade off his leash, ie. after Civil War and Spidey would be ****ed. (I mean somehow 'Pools seen the Spider-Man movies, how would he lose?)

That's what I thought. Doesn't anyone here know that the prototyle for Deadpool is Spidey, but as a deranged assasin?

I like Deadpool and all, (actually, he's prety damn wicked,) but he doesn't hold a candle to Spidey

Deadpool knows he can't beat Spider-Man

Which why he usually TRIES to cheat then get's hillariously dispatched by Peter. As Always.

What do you mean as always? I thought that was there only fight. Deadpool has superhuman speed strength ect ect too. I think Spidey will still win though too.

Exactly, one fight, and no weapons. Plus there is the small fact I seem to be forgetting about Deadpool, oh right. He's fricking immortal! You think Wolverine is bad, 'Pool get back from a small puddle of gentic material

Hey, I was just thinking "No trouble? Bah! Deadpool was about to blow some innocent's brains out" :D

The Cable/Cap meeting was a lot better though, thought it was great.

(Oh and C&D 29 "BLASPHEMY! All fights are necessary!" LOL! :D)
