****, I was about to make this thread. Anyways, the rumor is, based off the title and teaser, you can play as both Goblin and Spidey. This makes sense since in two of the three movies, you can play as a Goblin. I hope thats true, because I love the Goblin and he never gets any love in Spidey games.

I just hope it was a major screw up, or that they were simply too lazy to make a decent Goblin model. What I'm really hoping for, is that it won't be a kiddy version of the previous Spider-Man games.

Well, if your reading comprehension was above that of a 4th grader, you would see that he also added "or something else" meaning that it could be a robot or it might not be. I think hes right, because clearly you can see a normal model of the Green Goblin in the back ground...

As for it being a kiddie version of the films, im with you, i hope they deff do NOT go that route.

Did you actually watch the Intro on the site yourself? That's not how the shot looks, and nice move on insulting me btw.

You see the first shot of the Goblin in the background, which still looks fairly normal. Then the scene goes to a close up, and you see Lego Goblin.

Right, i saw that. I'm just going on the basis that both Goblins look soo different, that it must be something else, well thats what i hope, thats what i REALLY hope.

We know nothing about this game (Who develop the game ? since when ? etc...) based on the Spider-Man Trilogy, we can just imagine and hope.

According to my roomate who's an intern at activision, the game focus's on venom and the black suit, but someone said the game was being called "red vs black" sooo the guy he was talking to might be confused... he said it sounds like you play as venom...

so to me i bet we just will be able to play as the villains of the movies as well as spidey

If we can really play as villains, I'm hoping that we won't be restricted to just playing the Main villains like Green Goblin, Doc Ock or Venom. It would be fun to be able to play as the Shocker, Scorpion or even the Rhino, stomping down the street and crashing through cars.
