I've never seen Spidey trying to contact Blade because he's in desperate need of help. Black Cat, FF, Avengers, even X-Men? Sure. Blade? Not so much.

They aren't close friends. At all. Spidey think's blade is crazy, but Blade has saved his ass from vampires a couple of times.

Do you really not see the logic of teaming up with a vampire hunter to hunt, I dunno, vampires? It's not hard to grasp, and not exactly an illogical leap to make....

How do you know? Maybe there are a whole bunch...it's not based on the comics. Morbius could easily be tweaked to turn others into vampires, like he is in the ultimate comics.

You can't say something is implausible when the two have a history together, even if they don't like each other.

And my main point is that there are other characters who've got far more history with Spidey than Blade does. So I don't see a plausible reason why exactly he should be chosen for a Spidey game, when there are dozen of other characters far more suited for the spot.

My deepest fear is that this will be some kind of stupid Streetfighter clone.

At best, it will be a Maximum Carnage battle royale where you had villains as allies just because it serves their best interests.

I wasn't because I spent ages arguing that Blade would make sense, and even Iron fist to a lesser extent. I never said I thought it was wrong. Nothing about it seemed outlandish to me.

But you were kinda a *****e to him about it.

I don't mind the idea aswell, and you do have to bare in mind, it's gonna be a new take on the movies, and a twist on the legend.
