I remember someone posting a one-off issue of Spider-Man where Peter was molested as a child on here about a year ago.

Can anyone post it again? Search didn't work for me.:csad:

it was a public service messasge that was written as a comic and incorperated into stan lee's spider-man newspaper strip

It's quite funny, but that never actually happened to PP.

i don't think ANYTHINGabout child molesting is funny perhaps you used the wrong word and meant ironic

You can find a lot of images like these at superdickery.com

Thing is, that guy looks a lot like Uncle Ben :(

Coincidence? I think not.

Anyway, I doubt it's in continuity.

It does look an awful lot like Uncle Ben, but I'm pretty sure that guy with the paper in the 5th panel is supposed to be Ben.

Not funny at all, and an important message even (especially?) today.

It's just disturbing to me.

No, it's not ironic. Funny. Definitely funny.

Irony would be you being raped by a large black man while a seinfeld laugh track plays over and over during the (impressive) three-hour ordeal.

Irony:

a. The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.
b. An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.
c. A literary style employing such contrasts for humorous or rhetorical effect.
d. Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs: "Hyde noted the irony of Ireland's copying the nation she most hated" Richard Kain.
e. An occurrence, result, or circumstance notable for such incongruity.

No, that's not irony either.

Not Irony, but five star entertainment!!:woot: :woot: :woot:

well if we change that molester to Joe Q and JMS then it would be in continuity...

That guy looks like Ben?

How about the very last thing Spidey says? "That young boy was me"

I think that pretty much means Pete was talking to Ben and May, no?

Clearly not continuity though

oh come on, it's pretty funny...spider-man got raped as a little kid, how is that not funny? it's just so utterly rediculous that you have to laugh

Not necessarily raped, just fondled.

BTW , the word "fondle" is so funny in and of itself, that it should never be used in describing molestation in a serious context.

"Fondle"...heh..
