Also, on the subject of Elfman, I'd just like to say this is easily some of the most emotional stuff from his Spider-Man scores for me.

Now hopefully Raimi can get him to create a great score again because Elfman's track record over the past decade has been... disappointing, to say the least.

Yea I hope so too. I haven't been terribly impressed with some of the scores I've heard the last few years.

It's true Elfman hasn't put out great work since, well, Spider-Man. I know he had like 10 minutes to put together the JL score so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure he'll be back on his A game for Raimi.

Excluding him reusing other’s themes for JL...

He sadly has been on a “greatest hits remix” vibe post-2004, of his own work.

I thought 'Alice in Wonderland' was a pretty good effort from him, but yeah he hasn't done anything truly great since 2005 or so.

I suppose after a 35 year career, you're bound to start veering into greatest hits territory.

Still, 'Edward Scissorhands' means he already achieved greatness. One of the best scores ever written.

I really did like Michael Giacchino's score for the first Dr. Strange movie though, so I hope they retain some of that.

I dont mind giving Elfman another shot for the MCU. I only remember the blu ray menu music from Age of Ultron, but that was nearly 80 % Silvestri. :D
I love his work for Desperate Housewives though.

The job of a composer is difficult. Everyone responds differently to music. So what may be horrible for one is likely a treat for another.

All I know is the soundtrack for this is gonna be a spectacle. We're looking at revamped themes for Doctor Octopus and Electro. Not only that but if Tobey and Andrew are announced that confirms at least a small section of the soundtrack will be inspired by their appearance.

Not too mention Doctor Stranges theme which will likely be incorporated with Spider-Mans in someway. And maybe even a theme for DD/Matt if those rumours ring true.

I really hope Marvel sees the hype and just runs with it on this one. Yeah there's leaks, but no need to change anything when everything is getting a great response.

I’m just happy he’s been slowly doing new Oingo Boingo these past couple years.
He’s even been making new solo music and it has been great

Hopefully once things cool down with the pandemic we get a full blown Oingo Boingo reunion

Try To Believe from the film Midnight Run, is my favorite song of there's.

The Nexus tease does excite me a little. Though... who is Evan Peters playing still? The episode definitely addressed that he was an imposter, but that end credits scene is still perplexing to me.
