I cannot WAIT until tomorrow so that I can read this one! The preview looks great, and I'm anxious to see how everything is resolved!

I will also pray that there is never a sequel....as sequels to comics about desolate futures tend to suck....*cough*DKSA*cough*

ugh, spoilers. i'd rather not have any, just wanna enjoy the final issue without knowing what's gonna happen.

although i'm picking up a bunch of comics tomorrow, this is definitely gonna be grabbed first.

I could but as Im sure you know comic shops are few nd far between in england, and my nearest is an hour rive, and reign is the only comic in this weeks shipping I plan on getting so its really not worth 2 hours of driving!

Issue 4 rocked! here's the best parts. Don't read if you don't want to be completely spoiled...tempting, huh?


[blackout]- Sandman, we were looking at him the whole time and didn't know it.

- Sandman's daughter. Ditto.

- Resolve of Mary Jane haunting Peter.

- insight into why the symbiote wanted the Mayor to turn NY into a police state.

- the sinner six get PWNED in a big way.

- although the cover shows Venom having a huge spidey snack, it doesn't appear in the book. There is one frame where Peter's telling the "hunter" joke and you see him crawling out of a symbiote's mouth, but no biting or blood.

- Peter Lives to swing another day / Jonah somehow gets back with the Daily Bugle and narrates the outro.[/blackout]

now the issue kicks ass...

a very very small summary...

SPidey crawls into the building, he first encounters electro who temed up with hydro man. spidey calls it the lamest team up ever. havent you heard...? heard what??? spidey kicks electro into hydroman and they go bashizzle.... heard that electricity and water dont mix...

next is the scorpion. he sends him flying outside the building. we learn that sandman is the main police guard oficer thing and that his daughter is the little girl that organized the bell ringing. after the cops shoot ehr down, the bell stops, and sandman really gets mad. she did have powers too tough...
spidey battles mysterio in a two panel small fight. mysterio transforms into mj but spidey kicks his fishbowl. next is kraven. he gets scared the hell outa spidey. in the end there is just venom and spidey. venom tells him thats its all about him and they battle, and during the battle spidey tells a cool joke. he seems to lose when sandman apepars with a detonator that will detonate all the bombs inside the sinner six. spidey blowys everything up. epiloge shows jameson telling that everythign is as it once was and he is thankfull for it. we se mary janes gravestone and peter webbing some dude telling mj, that he will one day come but till then he has some responsibility...

all in all, a great read. even better when read everythign together^^

The only thing I don't think was resolved was who the flabby old geezer was in the office way back in issue 1 (or was it 2?). I guess it must have been the Kingpin, after all.

I'm glad we didn't see any other heroes show up, and that this remained SPIDEY'S tale. We also got a story that is as different from DKR as DKR is from Watchmen. I like that the overall theme of "Power & Responsibility" was played up as the reason the symbiote continued to hate Peter. It really gave the Alien a little more depth...and made it a character all its own.

The fights were great and the resolution between Peter and MJ was beautiful.

I pray there is never a sequel, and I pray we get a beautiful Hardcover ASAP!!!
