towards the end of the book, spidey says there are five bodys scattered throughout the building, yet there should only be four cuz the fifth one got kicked out of the building. Ok, so not really a question, just an observation. Plus, would the discharge be that strong where it would blow up the building? I mean, in Battle Royale, the collars were only strong enough to just blow up their necks.

I know I know, its just a comic, let it go....

Yeah, this miniseries officially kicked all kinds of ass. # 4 is definitely worth the price of admission and then some. Good twists too. The only thing that had me a little confused was the fact that

Spidey ACTUALLY killed the bad guys in this. He electrocuted Electro and Hydro Man to death. Kicked Scorpion out of the building to the ground below. Just punched Mysterio in the face once, though it wasn't for sure that he was dead but I'm assuming so. And then he sprays Kraven with web fluid...a lot of web fluid...like 16 cartridges of it.

But, yeah, it was still a really good miniseries. It had the same feel of Dark Knight Returns but Andrews did a really good job of separating the two once we really got into the story.

I highly suggest to every and all Spider-Man fans to get this miniseries and enjoy the awesomeness that is Spider-Man: Reign.

Wow, in #4, the part with actual color, wow. It brought a little tear to my eye, very emotional. They ended it on an awesome note.

Yeah, to be honest...looking back at it now, it was a lil extreme of Spidey doing that. But how old was he again? I guess after so many years, you'd be driven to getting rid of them with different uses...

Venom says that he took over New York just to have revenge on Spidey on abandoning him in the first time. He's kinda right. As far as I know, the alien costume is not evil (in fact, a good 'person' in the standard of his races) didn't do anything bad to Peter when he wore. Peter just ripped it off immediately when he found out it's an alien symbiote. When the symbiote bond with Eddie, it started becoming twisted.

I didn't read the stories when Peter has the original costume. Does it actually affects Peter negatively?

The jokes, Venom being one of Spidey's shirked responsibilities (didnt like that he said his only, not true), CementGirl, Sandman...It was one of the best written Spidey stories and first time in a while I've actually finished reading a book with an enormous grin on my face

Highly recommend to everyone. Have to be a bit open minded though, the first 2 issues dont do the whole series justice, its the last 2 that really make it shine,

To my knowledge no, it just would take him out webswinging while he was asleep, the whole "evil spidey" came from the 90's toon, which lead to the movie.

I feel your pain. Today I managed to snatch up #3, but still no sign of #1 in sight...

Hmm, this issue was better than the previous three but it did not rock my world.

I liked the ending w/ Spidey leading the symbiote swaths atop the skyscraper to their unwitting doom.
I also liked the detailing of Venom’s motivations, that was cool.
The art was great as usual, and I liked the big throw down finale but Spider-man killing his enemies?
That did not wash w/ me.

As for the explosion at the end, I did not see a web line heading out from the building so how exactly did Spidey pull off not dieing? Was the device not button activated? …

Once I saw the panel w/ the blast I respected KA’s choice to kill web head rather than keep him around as an out-of-retirement-superhero-with-an-agenda figure. Killing Spidey would separate him from Bats at the end of DKR in this respect and also rule out any questionable sequel.
… well, that’s what I thought when I first saw the page…
