Wish we could have seen Blomkamp's film.
Another Alien directed by Ridley? God yes.
Aye, I'm having a hard time imagining it being worse than Covenant.I'm not sure if it would've been a good movie, but I don't see how it would've been much worse than the trash we got with Alien Covenant and the ruination of the Xenomorphs.
God no. Covenant was terrible Prometheus was disappointing.
Agreed. Enough out of him already. He's had two movies now to explore his pseudointellectual take on intelligent design in the Alien universe. Enough of David, enough of Ridley Scott. Enough.God no. Covenant was terrible Prometheus was disappointing.
How many semi-good or better Alien films are there?
Thanks. I don’t know for sure if I’ve seen Covenant. Pretty sure I’ve seen everything else, and like the Terminator series, I only really liked the first 2.For me, it's Alien, Aliens, and Covenant, although I haven't seen the AvP movies (and don't care to).
After Ellen Ripley's last appearance in David Fincher's "Alien 3," Sigourney Weaver teased a potential return to the world of Weyland-Yutani at a New York Comic Con "Alien" reunion panel.
"['Alien' producer] Walter Hill is a very good friend of mine, and he wrote 50 pages of where Ripley would be now, and they're quite extraordinary," Weaver on stage during a conversation moderated by Josh Horowitz. "I don't know if it's going to happen, but I have had a meeting with Fox or Disney...I've never felt the need [to reprise the role]. I was always like, 'Let her rest, let her recover.' What Walter has written seems so true to me, as very much about the society that would incarcerate someone who has tried to help mankind, but she's a problem to them, so she's sort of tucked away. I think it's a very strong first 50 pages. I'm thinking about working with Walter to see what the rest of the story
Yep. Was cancelled and we got Romulus, Earth, and a cancelled Ridley Scott one.Wasn't Neill Blomkamp going to do this, and basically pull a Halloween by making a sequel to Aliens and pretending Alien 3 didn't happen? Maybe they will go back to that idea.
Yeah but funny enough they're technically still correct since the one in Resurrection was a clone.I guess Variety forgot about Alien Resurrections.
