Hey guys, I haven't posted here in a couple years, but I just picked up REIGN and needed to check out your thoughts on it.
I really loved this book, and I think that, above all, the art work really sold it for me. It's similar to the look of a project I've been working on, and I love the fact that this type of art can become commercially accepted.
Anyways, I did pick up the hardcover. Its gorgeous, a really nice package for a great price - $32CDN. To answer your questions about the extras;
2 pages of character sketches, issue 1 varient cover, issue 1 2nd printing cover, issue 2 second printing cover. There are also two scrapped covers, which Andrews said didn't deliver the same theme as the book, 'pain' all other covers, he says, are about pain.
As was mentioned before there is an 'Afterword' as well, very sentimental too.
I hadn't heard much about the series before it was released, so I didn't know much about it, but I knew, once I saw it, that it was something that every spider-man fan should read.
Definitly pick up the hardcover and keep those originals safe.
