The comic book ones are my strong suit... and I can generally get some of the movie ones, except for bus No.'s, formula codes, etc... and the life of Tobey Maguire ones are just educated guesses... unless I've seen the questions before and I remember the answers.

I'm down there with you... I've never done so poorly before. For some reason my mind was a blank on most of those, and when I thought I remembered an answer, I seconded guessed myself and chose wrong. Hate it when that happens.

I guess that would depend if you're talking about "yesterday's quiz"... which in this case, it appears that you were.

We've had people come in here and talk about the current daily quiz and discuss questions & answers and such, and that kind of talk gives an advantage to those who haven't taken the quiz yet.

The Vulture defeated him in the Amazing #2 and the Tinkerer as well. But the correct answer in the quiz was Dr. Octopus, who defeated him just the Amazing #3.

Weeeeellllllll.... if you read ASM #3, Spidey himself considers himself "beaten" for the first time, and he was beaten enough to actually consider giving up his role as a super-hero... until the Torch gives Parker the "Never give up" speech.

Even in the issue itself, after Doc Ock throws the barely concscious body of Spider-Man out the window, Pete thinks to himself... "What do I do now? I've never been beaten before!"

I understand your point though that both the Vulture & the Tinkerer had captured Spider-Man in the previous issue, but I guess that Spidey never thought of himself as being helpless like he did in ASM #3.

I don't like team-ups for the most part, and I HATE team-up questions! There have been SO MANY. I didn't know that Marvel team-up was so huge... it seems really out of proportion.

That's why TMOB is so good- he used to read it plus he has a seemingly photographic memory for details. I got 9 yesterday, should have got 10, stupid mistake. Gimme more Green Goblin or Hobgoblin Q's, I know everything about them.
