the motion sensitivity on the controllers is nothing like Wii's. online play is irrelevant. I don't need to play video games with players all over the world. they are nothing but a cpu to me. half of what you mentioned is a gallon of creme on a cup of coffee that wont have any effect on game play. really is a movie going to be more enjoyable if it's blue ray than if it's DVD? five minutes into it, will you even pay attention to that?
and you also have to remember when debating video games. all those numbers are irrelevant. players don't care about that. they care about fun. gamecube had bigger numbers than PS 2, and better grpahics, but PS 2 had better games=better game play, more fun. The experience is what matters, not the numbers.
and graphics are irrelevant now as long as they aren't going backwards. they already reached a realistic feeling with the last gen, so anything short of looking 100% like real television isn't going to impact how much fun you have playing at all.
What will be the difference between playing a game on PS 3 and PS 2? internet is just like playing with your friend in the room with you. graphics? more of the same, your still doing the same thing. blue ray? we already got DVDs. they enetertain you just as good. the numbers? numbers don't sell games. they don't convince me I'm having fun. combatible with PSP? if you already got a PSP then so what? just use your psp. why would you even play that if you got a PS 3? that's like playing sega genesis instead of gamecube.
power on off button on the controller will also not effect game play. Sony forgot what put them on top. game play. they had less stuff than the nitnedo counterparts on both the last generations, but they dominated because of game play. PS 3? suped up version of the same old thing. nothing new or nex gen about it.
Wii? your in the game. 3d interaction. something we haven't had before. somethign we actually havent done before. It's one step cloer to virtual reality. you interact with the video game environment.
new experience vers new version of the same technology. PS2 is a tape. PS 3 is a cd. Wii is a guitar.
