There's recent buzz about a 3rd CW-verse show, the top two contenders being these two. Which one do you prefer?

Personally, I like Firestorm better. The whole two minds, one body is an awesome idea and the powers look awesome. Frankly, the Atom bores me as a character and Routh is as stale as ever.

I honestly would rather someone else but, of the two, Firestorm. Atom has yet to evolve beyond a Tony Stark knockoff with another dead loved one backstory for me, while Firestorm at least has an interesting setup with the two minds in one body aspect.

TBH before tonight, I'd have said Atom in a heartbeat. But Firestorm does seem like the more solid concept going forward. I'm going to wait and see Atom in costume/in action before voting though. It's only fair.:oldrazz:

I guess another way that would help in making a decision between the two characters is seeing who has the most potential when it comes to their "Rogues Gallery" since I don't think it'd be the best idea to constantly borrow another titular hero's villains.

Green Arrow doesn't have that many great villains of his own, and this show has only gotten an handful of them right when it came to translating them on screen.

The Flash on the other hand is in a much better position when it comes to having a better lineup of villains to play with.

FIRESTORM'S ENEMIES-

"Killer Frost" (Aka Caitlin Snow)- There is a lot of potential in having a villain that was a former lover/fiance to the main character. And given the history between Snow and Ronnie in "The Flash", there would be a lot of back story to play off of as well.

"MULTIPLEX"- Granted, I know that we've seen him already in "The Flash" where he was killed off at the end of the second episode, but it wouldn't exactly be unheard of for the show's producers to introduce a second version of a villainous persona that was previously seen and killed off.

"BLACK STAR"

"THE THINKER"

But I think you guys got the point by now.lol I'd do a list for "Atom", but he doesn't necessarily have as many interesting villains (imho) that Ronnie does. Though it would be interesting to see if they'd allow Deathstroke to become a main villain for Atom as well due to Slade's men having killed Ray's fiance. They also have history together in the comics.

Outsiders. Team-up TV series a la Avengers with The Atom, Firestorm, Katana, Metamorpho, Black Lightning, etc. :oldrazz:

Firestorm handsdown. Ray Palmer isn't that interesting at all to get a spin-off (at least the Arrow version, anyway)

Based on what I've seen so far, Firestorm.

I thought Ray Palmer was going to be interesting, turns out he's not.

I'd like them to just hop in and out of both shows for now. Having too many shows at once could ruin what they have going for them.

I'm holding off on this til their both fleshed out more . beside I rather both be at star labs in Barry's city when well reveal him self as one of the reverse flash's or when he has to leave their side eventually cause he won't be head of star labs after that happens and Cisco is the type to stay/ remain creative and not run the business side.

I would be down for a team up Outsiders or Brave and The Bold type show.

Either a team up, or more guest spots would be the best way to go. Neither could carry a TV show by themselves.

I think Firestorm has the advantage cause you've got two lead characters:

One's a young lab assistant who's a slob.

One's an old physicist who's a neat freak.

But what happens when they find themselves fused together after a particle accelerator explosion and are forced to live under the same roof?

FIRESTORM!

Tune in Wednesdays to see what wacky adventures they get into!

Wouldn't you have to separate them to have a Firestorm TV series so that you could have Amell and Garber actually acting alongside each other? They could maybe share the same body part of the time, but could be separated for a limited period as well before having to return to their default state.

Firestorm. Atom just isn't unique enough of a concept. Between the shared-body and "man on the run" storyline, Firestorm brings a lot more to the table.

This one is a no brainer, Firestorm is just a more interesting character and has better villains. But they could do a Brave and the Bold series with both, Palmer working with Stein and Ronnie could be fun, they just need their resident hacker and voilà!

Flash already has the science corner of the universe covered. So I'd rather a space or magic show. Routh, Amell, and Garber continuing to recur or be regulars in their respective shows.

Well Constantine has the magic cor...um...nevermind.

Exactly.

Green Lantern, in addition to a wealth of villains, supporting characters and mythology allows access to the wider DC Universe with the possibility of including Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Lobo, Adam Strange... Hell, even a revamped Space Ghost.

As far as magic goes, Zatanna would be great.

If we're talking magic put me down for Dr Fate or Zatanna.

Between Atom and Firestorm, for me it's easily Firestorm. But I'd be on board for either one.

Or Katana, Vibe, Wildcat, whatever. I was never a Green Arrow fan at all but I still watch Arrow. I just want to see more of this world. I can't wait for Vixen to start either.

Yes. Yes please. If Sara was still around, I'd be asking for a Black Canary & Zatanna show.

There is already a magic show its called VIXEN
I'm excited for it, but as of now it's set to be a six episode, digital-only series. I want a full on, live action show set in the Flash/Arrow universe.

Out of those two I'd say it's too early to judge. Palmer hasn't debuted as the ATOM yet. On paper Firestorm looks like the stronger concept (unless Palmer actually shrinks) while on camera Firestorm killed it in Nuclear Man/Fallout. Depends on how well they sell the ATOM on Arrow.

If I were allowed any pick for the DCCWU I'd go with Dr. Fate/Nabu.
