I don't mind an AI computer system is Tony's "butler", but they should've named him HOMER like in the comics and the cartoon. Ah well not complaining at all.

Oh yeah, and the idea sucks....why do they need Jarvis in the movie in the first place?
Jarvis is known for being a supporting character in the Avengers, not Iron Man.

I'll still see the film, but I expect a sequel that chronicles the daily life of Jarvis.

I don't mind Jarvis being a computer.
Now now, Bernard was going senile so Norman and Harry felt sorry for him which is why they kept him employed at their palatial dwelling.
And I can agree with Favreau about his decision because too many lay people would be comparing Tony to Bruce Wayne and Alfred.
I saw that during the credits and was quite surprised.
