Magnus Games is bringing its co-op monster-raising RPG Re:Legend to Kickstarter on July 26, the developer announced. The game recently finished its Square Enix Collective campaign at 99-percent in-favor votes.




Described as an “all-encompassing RPG-simulator hybrid with strong monster raising and multiplayer features,” Re:Legend is a co-op adventure that began development almost two years ago. Magnus Games intends to release a Windows PC version of the game, with stretch goals for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch support.

About
Your first few days in Re:Legend might consist of planting a few crops to subsist on, trading part of your harvest with the villagers, and eventually gaining enough resources to build a comfortable home. But as you go about your business, you will discover what makes Vokka Island unique: the presence of numerous monster-like creatures called Magnus. By taming and befriending wild Magnus like the adorable Momochi and Draconewt, this new world will truly open up to you. From helping you in a wealth of activities to carrying you across the island, loyal Magnus are the key to a prosperous life.

• Magnus taming and raising – All Magnus on Vokka Island are tameable and the way you raise them will determine how they grow.

Re:Legend, the co-op monster-raising RPG started its Kickstarter campaign and it was funded in under 18 hours. Here’s a look at its stretch goals that lists releases for Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.

Re:Legend, the upcoming co-op monster-raising RPG in the style of Fantasy Life and inspired by titles such as Monster Rancher and Rune Factory, had its Kickstarter campaign funded in under 18 hours.

Now that the project’s goal has been met, developer Magnus Games shared a look at its stretch goals, and it has some neat extras that could make it to the game with some extra funds:


The stretch goals are:

• $100,000 – Live orchestra recording
• $120,000 – New player shop
• $140,000 – Advance house customization
• $160,000 – Hidden Legendary Magnus
• $200,000 – Full voice acting
• $220,000 – Underwater biome (New Magnus, Quest, Collectables)
• $250,000 – Nintendo Switch
• $280,000 – PlayStation 4
• $310,000 – Xbox One

Co-op farming and monster-raising simulator Re:Legend opened its Kickstarter campaign last month, and the game has already met a number of its goals. One of the latest goals it achieved was that of $184,000, meaning the title will officially be heading to the Switch in addition to PC via Steam.

Two weeks still remain in Re:Legend’s Kickstarter campaign, and that means there’s still plenty of time to meet the remaining stretch goals, which include more bachelors and bachelorettes as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One support.

Re:Legend is in development for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch.
