Stan Lee's movie Appearances= the Watcher?

...So, with all of these cameos and bit roles in the various Marvel related films, I wonder if, ultimately, it amounts to Stan Lee playing Uatu the Watcher in disguise? Certainly, the Watchers all have vast cosmic power, they could easily disguise themselves. And since Uatu has a slightly rebellious streak, he's not above getting "involved" slightly now and then (like the Thor movie, trying to haul the hammer with a truck).. Just something to think about..
