So, what's the best thing to do with your Ps4 when you're not using it?

Standby. Faster boot up and it'll download and install your updates automatically.

Game updates will download and install. System updates require you to start them yourself.

I normally have my system on stand by and it doesn't install game updates has when I go to play a game I still get the message about the game update like you would when starting a game on ps3 and yes I have it set to do updates when the system is in standby I gusse it is broken and dosnt do it.

Well, it only does it once (maybe twice) a day. You are probably just catching it after the update is released but before your console pings to update it.

you never know when your game may need updates, so wouldn't be logical to always keep in on standby?
