Star Wars Ring Theory: The Hidden Artistry of the Star Wars Prequels
Despite being written and uploaded online almost a year ago, there isn't a thread dedicated to this piece.
Where many people feel the RedLetterMedia reviews of the Prequels are the quintessential "Anti-Prequel" pieces one could find on the internet, I'd argue in rebuttal that this very lengthy yet VERY thoughtful, studied look at the Prequels and their relation to the Original Trilogy through the ambitious concept of "Ring Theory" could very well represent the quintessential "Pro-Prequel" piece online.
Like I said, it's lengthy. It's nine pages long and incredibly detailed and thoughtful. It's practically an academic-level piece of writing, complete with supporting quotes, citations, screenshots to better support examples and so on.
But if you're interested in "Star Wars" on any level, trust me...you'll want to keep reading it and giving it some thought.
