That trailer is really disapointing. It just doesn't feel or look right.

Were not geting two cartoons just one. The show will most likely tell stories like tales but its made in the clone wars style.

Third did you notice a question mark at the end also? Also every Lucas Arts production be it games, movies even tv show will its logo, this trailer did not. In conclusion I think this not real.

The trailer looked ok to me. I'm confused about the timeline for this though. It's titled 'New Republic', yet i see shots of both OT and PT scenes. When the hell does this take place? After ROTJ, with flashbacks of the PT and OT..?

As of right now no one knows what exactly Tales Of The Republic is. The only thing official is the actual Clone Wars cartoon coming out. It looks like right now that Tales Of The Republic is nothing but a fan made thing

They never said it was real. They did what they did at first to see what people would say about it & it seems the response has been good. Maybe they wanted to see peoples reactions & are thinking of doing some kind of weekly animated series or something for the web.

Although will these be a continuation of Tartakovsky's series, or is this in an entirely separate canon? If it's different, it would've been nice of them to at least come up with a different name, which leads me to believe it's the same story universe.
