Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Im on the third level and im stuck. I entered cheats so i cant save. :(

Umm..so the game is actually good?

I've been reading reviews, and it seems like a disappointment.

I ask this b/c I was eagerly anticipating Assassin's Creed and when I read the reviews I was disappointed. However I still bought the game hoping I would still like it, but I was only even more disappointed.

So, what's the verdict fellas? Is it worth the purchase?

There was alot of hype associated with the game and that may make it a disappointment to some people, but if you're a Star Wars fan it's a must have. It beats out every Star Wars game ever.

If you're and action fan you should probably pick it up too. Using the force powers are great fun especially if you set the difficulty on Sith Lord to start and give yourself a nice challenge.

 It might not be game of the year material (I can't wait for Fallout 3) but I give it a 8.5/10 for regular gamers, 9.3/10 for Star Wars fans.

I watched all the cutscenes. Merciful lord the story is ace.

Picked it up last night and tested it out (just a little bit of fun play), and I really like it. I'll have to sit down today and try it out for real.

Just saw a Youtube video of Starkiller in his Sith robes, looks fantastic!!! The cloth and cloak movement is flawless, so realistic!! Friday can't come quick enough!!

I did the same. A bit bittersweet.

So Starkiller started the Rebellion, I actually quite like that, nice twist. Vader getting THAT beat up I wasn't happy about, If Vader's mask comes off, he dies, I thought that was concrete? Maul and Obi-Wan cameo's where fantastic.

Actually, no.

Vader can survive for some time without his mask. He got fried by the Emperor at the end of Return of the Jedi, causing his life-breathing system to stop functioning.

Although he got f'ed up pretty bad at the end of TFU, his main systems ( or so I think, asume, guess ) was still intact. This might be me, but I felt so sad for Galen Marek at the Dark Side ending. "And so ... in the end, like Vader, you'll be cast aside."

Id still say KOTOR is better.

Gameplay-wise, Force Unleashed is better. Storywise, KOTOR wins. Not to say TFU's story is bad, it's awesome, but it doesn't beat the scale of KOTOR's.

Now, I love the game, but the main flaw? Too damn short. I just got it yesterday and I'm on the last level already. Granted, I was sick today and thus had nothing else to do but play it, but still.

So should I get the 360 version or the Wii version? Normally I wouldn't think twice and I'd go 360, but the Wii is not only 10 dollars cheaper, but it has a duel mode, and from what I've read excellent use of the Wiimote. And I do want to play a bunch of imaginary jedi duels, but the 360 demo was pretty sweet looking.

Try and avoid platform biased answers, I like my 360 as much as my Wii, and when developers get the application of Wiimote controls right, it can be fantastic. So anyone played both?

I want to get this game but considering how short it is, I'm not so sure...

Wii version sounds awesome. I dont have a wii, i got it for 360.

Nirvana got it for both... he needs to get back in here and tell me which one he thinks is better.

I've read the Wii version is very buggy in terms of graphics etc. I know the next gen versions have the odd bug too but the Wii is meant to be worse.
