It sounds funny but I thought that the suit in TASM would look out of place in Avengers. Now it's had an upgrade and obviously it's taking more of a classic approach...

Who knows if it could happen!

Two new characters are joining Avengers 2, 'a brother-sister act' or something according to Whedon. Not sure if that suggests Spidey.

Maybe we'll get some easter eggs.

The reason why I think it's a prank is that there doesn't appear to be anything special about that bike. It's just a regular motorcycle with a Stark Industries decal.

Nah. That was a hint at Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver joining.

However, I've suspected we might be seeing a second team assembled in A2, so Spidey could be a part of that if they are bringing him into the MCU.

Both sides have said they'd be interested and they tried w/ A1 and ASM.

I see no reason why they wouldn't try again. This time, with a concrete plan and story.

They can bring Spidey into the MCU without making him part of the 'Avengers Initiative'; things like the little easter egg of wanting to have Oscorp Tower be in the skyline of New York on The Avengers and having a Stark Industries motorcycle show up on camera in TASM2 would be the way to establish connections while still allowing Sony to do its own thing with the Spidey license and this TASM franchise.

I far and away prefer Spiderman to be in his own separate and superior universe, but what shall be, shall be. I won't complain much.

My reaction to this spidey being in the MCU would be.... :(

Agreed. I'd be gutted, but I'd just go with it. Complaining would get no where really (but it's what we do on the internet :p )

Yeah, it's not part of the production. Just a bike that belongs to a fan.

    So.... :D

They're not even the same bikes - can't believe people won't even take the time to compare them.
