How often would you say that you take things from your job?

At my job we have something called "1506" which means damaged goods that will be thrown out. If there's something in there that's only slightly damaged or if an item is open but nothing was taken out, I'll take it.

I like to poop when I'm clocked in, so I guess I'm stealing money:word:

I think your nose grew a little...

I've taken pens and a note pad. And the occasional donut or 6... That's about it.

Wow. When I read the bolded part, I had to do a double take.:funny:

I really haven't. I've wantonly wasted supplies while at work though. :hehe:

I take it back. I guess I've stolen paper and ink because I've printed off lots of personal stuff.

Postage from mailing out my personal mail at work.

I've printed stuff and taken plastic sleeves to protect what I've printed.

I have a pen, but it gets kept in my bag and half the time that's with me back at work anyway.

When I had my first job at the local supermarket, I used to take the bottled drinks they had in the basement during my break that were going to be put in the aisles. :o

I used to take cigarettes and 20 oz Mountain Dews from a convenient store i worked at. Plus i would always take from the Baskin Robbins ice cream freezer bar that was there.

I took two vests and a collapsible orange safety cone from Wally-Mart (although the latter was by accident, since I had it in my pocket and forgot to put it back). Also, I took probably about 2 dozen cases of Gatorade without asking for the stockmen, since management were required to provide us with cold drinks on hot days but were always trying to get us to use the water fountain (and I was instructed by HR that they weren't supposed to be doing that, anyway). Probably about $200+ in Gatorade disappeared from that store's inventory thanks to yours truly, but I was within my rights to do so.

i worked at a fresh market in central florida and every single day i stole from that store. the store had a upstairs that only the "lowest of the low" would go up to to get stuff and a buddy and i turned the back in into a hang out spot. we would steal sushi, hot wings, and fresh shrimp every single day. we would always steal the finest of wines and beers. it was a joke. these people thought they had a rule over us but they never had any cameras in the place. we had the finest of steaks just for the hell of it. the fresh market in altamonte springs florida. it was so good and so hard to ever explain. we robbed that place blind over a couple of years.

Oh, and at my next job I participated in some workplace theft involving peoples' mortgages and investments, but my lawyer says I'm not allowed to talk about it since the trial is still pending.

:awesome:

Never stolen from work. I'm surprised that many of you have. Steal little, steal big, it's still stealing to me.

I sold cars. I didn't steal from the company, but it was company policy to steal as much money from the customer as we could get away with.

That's a fact at every dealership. Probably the lowest deal I was ever a part of was selling a guy a 350 car payment when he only made 375 a month from SSI.

so you love it when a Hank Hill comes by your dealership

Also, is it wrong selling a stick shift to a paraplegic girl? I did that too.

I work so much at home with my job, its hard to tell what is what....

I've stolen candy bars or water bottles at work. Most of the times its just me forgetting to pay for it.

But they screw up my payroll so much and miss hours that I feel like I've paid already
