Yep. That's what it feels like sometimes. Haha.

So the sale is over and I put together a spreadsheet of what I bought.

Not too shabby. Might pick up Saints Row 2 tomorrow for $3.74 but I dunno.

I really liked the story the wallpapers told hahah, cute stuff.

My Steam account is worth almost $700, and I bet I've payed less than $70 for it.

I only use Steam for free downloads available, mostly demos
The thing I have a problem with is when it displays "12 minutes remaining" in downloads, it takes an hour to complete, it happened to APB Reloaded (Steam account refuses to sign in for it) and Arkham Asylum demo

Steam are having a big sale at the moment. Bagged myself a couple of bargains...
MP3 - £7.49
Walking Dead - £10.49 for the season pass

The Alan Wake collection deal is pretty nice today!

wow!! The New Hitman for like $24!!

Now if only Far Cry 3 would go on sale

Steam accounts now link with Twitch accounts, Dota 2 makes first use of feature

Folks with both Steam accounts and Twitch.tv accounts can now make the two the best of friends, and by doing so alleviate a minor inconvenience associated with watching competitive Dota 2.

Until now, players had to choose between watching Dota 2 tournaments either in-game or via Twitch, with the later option excluding them from receiving promotional items that randomly "drop" during events, provided that they had purchased virtual tickets. With this new linked account system, players watching on Twitch are still eligible to receive the special items, assuming their Steam account has the required virtual tournament ticket associated with it.

Dota 2 is still expected to launch sometime before August 7 and the beginning of its largest annual event, The International.

The SOnic Hits Collection (including transformed) glitched for 8$ for about 30 minutes. I was able to snag it to my inventory. Awesome deal.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. It has begun!

$30 for Last Light...and yet I still can't bring myself to buy it. sigh

There's a new game on Steam for $5 called Dysfunctional Systems: Learning to Manage Chaos. Yeah I know its a mouthful.

It's a visual novel game with some good character work and a branching story. I had never played a game like this before but after trying it out I'm intrigued. I did a review for it, the link is below if you wish to read.

If you like story and deep characters I suggest you give it a shot, like I said it's $5.

Also they're doing the trading card thing again so don't forget to vote for the Community Choice deals (and vote for Shadowrun right now, 9 bux!)

What is the deal with Trading Cards? I have a bunch of them and no clue what for.

Eh if you collect a set you can craft a game specific badge, which levels up your profile, and get profile backgrounds, forum emoticons and upgrades to your account, stuff like extra friends list, etc.

OR you can sell them on the market place, normal cards usually go for about 10 to 20 cents, foil ones are usually a dollar or so.

It's not a lot but you can make enough to pay a portion of a game's price or even get a free one if somethings on sale and you've sold a bunch of cards or got lucky with a few foils.
