Storm, Rogue, Psylocke, Jubilee and Shadowcat in X-Men all female team

As far as I know it's a proactive team dealing the people and places not found in the flagship X-men titles, with Bishop as the first villain. I'm sure killing is still involved.

I'm more worried about Rogue. After Legacy I almost hated the character, but I actually like her in Uncanny Avengers. So she can go either way I guess.

I keep hoping that Remender's watched the '90s X-Men cartoon recently and is using that as a blueprint for Rogue's personality. She's been so very awful in recent years.

She sucked the minute Claremont started messing with her powers. That stuff in Maximum Security trul was the begininng of the end for her and she's gone downhill since

Is Uncanny X-Force still going to be about amoral d-bags killing everything in sight and then desperately trying to justify it to themselves so they can pretend they're still heroes? If so, nope, still not interested.

You're killing me Corp! Remender's Uncanny X-Force was probably the best book I've read in years and definately the best X-Book since Morrison changed the feel. Yeah, they were heroes killing but unlike Craig and Yost's X-Force, there was actual substance to it. Definately beyond the d-bags killing everything in sight. It was a fantastic piece that actually deal with exactly what you don't like about X-Force. In short... Remender agreed with you and wrote the heck out of it. Yeah, there's killing but it's necessary to move the characters from where they were when the series started to where they were by the end.

Remender did a great service toward turning the X-Men away from murder and it sounds like he's continuing that with Wolverine in Uncanny Avengers. Humphries' Uncanny X-Force... I don't know yet, but I get the impression it's a continuation of what Remender began.

I want Rogue to have flight and super strength again, even if it is seen as character regression.

I'll go against the crowd and say that I really like how Rogue's been handled of late and LOVE that she has a mastery over her power. It's cool having an established power copier around who's under control.

I have no problem with Rogue's powers. My problem is with her bland personality. Where's the saucy southern gal that was so much fun in the '90s? If she's got her powers under control now, she definitely shouldn't be so mopey and angsty.

I flipped through issues of it periodically because of how much people raved about it. The most recent one I remember featured Captain Britain, and it read pretty much like Psylocke trying to justify murder to her brother because she couldn't think of anything better to do in the heat of the moment. I read it and thought, "Doesn't that just make you really bad at being a superhero?" It's just not for me, man.

Anyway, I'm reading Uncanny Avengers now, so if he's continuing themes from Uncanny X-Force there, I'll get to see some of what you were talking about. I'll just have that lovely moral cushion called Captain America to stop the X-vengers from doing anything too reprehensible. :)

She lost her personality when she lost her Ms. Marvel powers. Sad but true. Maybe Carol's psyche helped made her a more fun person

So the focus on this new all women's team is Jubilee??

Is Rachel Grey the daughter of Jean Grey and Scott Summers??

So Rachel has telekinetic powers and limited telepathic powers like Jean Grey??

And why is she called Rachel Grey?? Shouldn't it be Rachel Summers?? I thought most kids take after their father's last name.

She is the daughter of an alternate reality Scott and Jean.

She has TK and full TP. Nothing limited about it

Her original name was Rachel Summers but when she returned to the X-men a few years back, it was after Jean was killed and Scott had cheated with Emma. She was so disgusted that she changed her name in protest against that relationship and also to honor Jean

Snippets of Uncanny X-Force doesn't really show you anything. That example you gave is a sure example of that. That arc was a tragic study of the two mentalities... kill or not to kill. It was also touched upon again in the series finale when Betsy goes to see Brian an talks about it after everything played out. Very good... and it wasn't even the best storyline of the book :)

Like being a part of a secret team that governs the most dangerous aspects of the world ;)

Cap's on the Illuminati specifically to hold them morally accountable. :oldrazz:

Why did Scott cheated with Emma?

Was he under the spell/influence/brainwash by Emma? And how did Jean died??

bc he's a man. He and Jean were growing distance after his return to the Xmen after being presumed dead following his merging with Apocalypse in The Twelve. Jean went on a world tour with Xavier to help set up the new X-Corporations, which were like extensions of the X-men set up in various cities to help mutant relations and issues. While away, he started seeing Emma who acted as a sex therapist. They engaged in a psychic affair, which Jean walked in on upon her return. It was his choice, his decision and there was nothing to suggest Emma was using her powers to manipulate him

Jean dead when Xorn (impersonating Magneto)gave her a fatal stroke when he hit her with an electromagnaetic shock

I don't like Jubilee or Rachel at all. I used to completely despise Psylocke, but Uncanny X-force has managed to change that a little. Hopefully we see more steps in the right direction. Storm and Kitty rock :)

About time Jubilee is back. Maybe the phoenix giving her powers back reversed the stupid vampire thing.

I hope she's still a vampire but returns to her old personality. It'd be kind of cool to see a sunny, happy-go-lucky vampire for once.

Just saw on Newsarama that X-Treme X-Men will be cancelled soon, so maybe Dazzler can hop over to this book eventually.
